This means, as attacker, I have to be buying 100 food from market everytime I want to start a portal.
It is annoying and it has no sense at all.

Attackers dont make food at all, because its consumed by fleets thus a waste, so when you want to start a portal you have 2 options: ask for aid or go to the market, the second option is the faster, but even that way it is damn annoying and stupid, extra clicks on the mouse and using your keyboard when you'd only need 1 click to start a portal.


please change that, the game has already a lot of clicking itself, we dont need those extra clicks and inputs on the keyboard.

Only active attackers know how annoying is this

people building the portal require food to eat aswell, else theil slack and make mistakes and your forces can end up in the sun!

nah they use an alien raze of workers fed with air, nah even better, they use slaves with the promise they'll be the 1st ones to use the portal and travel to homeplanet and be free, so they try to construct the portal without mistakes

p.s and if the people need to eat making the portal, wouldnt they need to eat making other buildings as well?

no.. other buildings need like a day to be done.. people can starve for a day.
Portals need like 3 days.. after 2 days without food the workers will go on strike.

CFs are the fastest and they take 5 Weeks (35 Days!)

Whilst we are at it, can we remove the oct, iron, endo, and cash requirements for a portal? It only complicates the process and makes it annoying to build portals (i dont want to have to wait for resources to build things)...as LG said with the market, it adds a risk for those who are in negative food production..

unless your fam members go on strike too!   nah come on wormstrum, your comment is fun but it also shows you havent ever been an active attacker.  It's really annoying to be using market or asking for aid when you need just 100 food to start a portal.
