Think first, then sleep a night, think again, ask some other people for advice and if your still sure you thought about an actually good idea, only THEN write it down....

@krabcat, indeed base it upon fams nw, this way small fams (in ammount of players, or active players) stil have some shot at keeping growth up with full (active) fams.

Bad alundra! That way It costs more to build fleet for big fams.. that's a massive disadvantage...
Just make building construct affected by fam not individual...

a big fam can make an ass out themselves when jumping a popper aswell. being big doesnt mean they can, they merely have the means to make it a efficient as possible jump.

Its never a disadvantidge Humidity, big fams wil find a way arround it to make it most efficient for their cause, noir wouldnt be considering having 3-4 poppers (let alone 2 if your top dog) if it would apply to fleet costs aswell wink but i agree this would be to hard on them. if annything we need to base certain costs upon average fam nw/size and not on personal base. This way smaller fams pay less then big ones, its the price for succes! it only means big fams wil have to think twice before exploring/portalling/jumping a guys infra. only they wil suffer if they do it wrong. and give the chance of another fam to get closer, but once their the top dog, the game starts all over again.

it wil end the massive outgrowing some eco planners pull off.
in the end their stil the best, just not so far ahead u cant do dick about it annymore (for atleast the biggest part of the galaxy)
