In addition to rodent playground, how about having an open galaxy where potential changes can be tested on a larger scale before implementing.

*Either an open galaxy for everyone to join, or a select group similar to the think tank project, depending on what the mods need.
*Rules and conditions can be changed at any time, rounds reset, map changed, switched from normal to HC etc without notice. This gal if for testing purposes only, players enjoying it comes 2nd or 3rd


The gal can also double as a getaway for ppl just wishing to idle ingame without taking spots in fams trying to compete. I very much enjoyed playing last round SD as solo, and as tutor in virgo back in the days. Solo infrawhoring is relaxing tongue

For nostalgic reasons, galaxies like Andromeda or Trianglum could be reopened and used for this.

The problem I see with this, is the whining and frustration that will come from players because the galaxy was reset while they weren't finished testing something. It's a fun idea, and good intentions, but I heard those bricks were what paved the road to hell. wink

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Heh yeah, thought of that, adn i see your point, but everyone who were to join this gal would be perfectly aware of the conditions.

Thats not a bad idea, ppl that in some way got a hold of a VIP will most likely care for the game and be pretty active; They make a good target participants for this purpose.

yeah and that would mean they would ave to run a seperate application for a seperate galaxy, well that just takes up space smile

Pardon my french....but wat did happen to virgo.......i always thought it was good for .....1 teaching the newbies without bein thrown into the deep end and .....2 sorting out the peeps who arnt guna hang round and waist time of others

you could test 40% fam nw limit to attack instead of the 35% rule thats now
