Have you considered this scenario Arby3, what if the accident was caused by driver distraction, lets say hot guy in the car coming the other way. Now, if you were driving, you may have obscured the view, completely preventing the accident? What if instead of hitting a car head on, because you were on the road, she hit the side of your car and you were both only injured? But you could also say that if you had been there, you might have been tailgating or driving next to the other car and also been involved and compounded the sitatuation (turns into a 10 car pileup...anarchy reigns, zombies roam the Earth, etc). As you said, circumstances could have been different if you had been on the road, and even the slightest change in the events could produce entirely different outcomes (no accident, zombie apocolypse...)

I am also glad you are safe and in one piece though...also, I wonder how the person whose planets you took feels about you being late for work? tongue

The circumstances, are this:

Woman driving erratically, crossed median into other highway. Drove in the wrong direction for over 2 miles, and hit the man head on.

I drive away from the city for work. There is hardly any traffic that early in the morning.

Also, my 86 Trooper had a top speed of 92mph when it came out of the factory new. 26 years and 240k miles later, I usually cruise around 65 on the highway. No tailgating, but plenty of people passing me. Especially so since the speed limit on that highway is 75mph. tongue

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
