This morning, I spent an extra 10 minutes on IC to send fleets in PW. I left 10 minutes later than normal, and 3 miles down the road on my commute, I came upon a vehicle accident. A woman was driving north in the southbound lane on the highway. She killed the man she hit head on and was severly injured herself. The more I think about it, the more it rattles me. If I had left on time, I would have been in that area at the time of the collision. She would have either hit me instead of him, or I would have witnessed the accident. I'm very thankful that neither happened. Upon even more thought, if she had hit me in my 86 Isuzu trooper with her minivan head on, it would have probably killed her instead. 5000 pounds of steel versus these new fiberglass vehicles is not even a contest.

Made me think about life a bit. I'm very thankful for my friends and family. I don't tell them enough that I love and appreciate everything they do. Don't anyone forget to do that in your own lives. I'm hated by some, ignored by most, but just to let you guys/gals know, I enjoy most every conversation I have on irc. smile

Unfortunately, I'm not fat enough to make up for no airbags, nor do I have 44KKK breasts to save me. I do wear my seatbelt though. As much as it would keep me from throwing around or faceplanting the steering wheel, it does little to keep me from headbutting my B pillar. sad
