Re: The Barack Hussein Obama wants re-elected thread
Formal thread through the end of November voting.
I shall update this first post as needed with discussion stuff (except my ignore list)
Firstly Obama is having cash problems.
He is raising an average of 24 million a month, has only got 7% of previous donators donating to him now (Bush had 20%), and most significantly he has costs exceeding his donations by large margins.
In fact his email solicitations are most damning to his problems, as most ask not for the $10, $20, $30, $50 type solicitations of the past, but now ask for $3 with a 'chance to have dinner with the President'.
Obama recently even embraced that which he damned in the strongest of terms... Super PAC's. The point here being he needs them to try to help him bridge his gap. But even there it seems enthusiasm is waning.
Amongst his volunteers he is also having problems, as many just as not responding to his calls.
While the man himself seems to be popular, very few of his policies are attractive to either side.
In Democrat ranks there is a great sensation of betrayal, where Obama did not push through the many great things he offered.
Tie this in with fuel prices and Obama is going to get hurt bad. Prices are predicted to easily pass $5 a gallon this summer, with places seeing $6 a gallon.
Actually most of the nation would be seeing a doubling of cost of electricity and as high as $7 a gallon fuel if not for the Bakkan Shale Deposit being exploited on State, and Privately, Owned lands (to this date Federal lands in the formation are not being given permits).
Compound this with Obama's choice to prevent the Kestone XL Pipeline and people will be fuming as they goto the pump.
Obama is going to have a pretty grim looking summer unless he abandons his environmentalist allies entirely.
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
