I thought you didn't get green bananas because they are green on the tree and turn yellow as they ripen, and I didn't think a boat of bananas could cross the Atlantic in time for them still to be green.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
