Getting hit early, getting the PNAP, and moving on is a good way of handling a round with a dominant family IMO...you get the only major enemy out of the way quickly and then rebuild and enjoy the rest of the round...

i only decalred war to save morale since i had to go "senitel" to hit ur small attackers, but attacks have increased now yes.
