I generally stay away from stuff that celebrities put their name on. Get a decent pair of Bose or Senheiser.

I've seen them, someone I sit next to in college has a set.  I can hear his music over the metal I listen to loudly.  They're powerful as all hell.

skullcandy is nothing compared to beats tongue but they cost about 10 times less tongue

i have skullcandys too. love them. and they arent as expensive as some others that break just as easily as the cheap ones.

I have a Skullcandy, a sennheiser pxc 350 and a Bose quiet comfort 15.

The Bose blows everything out of the water. Both on noise cancelling and audio quality.

Beats by Dre just make a lot of noise and bass, but they're worthless for anything outside that range.
