Topic: Successful Defense

After the battle

If the attacker is succesful the planet will change owner and the defenders who survived the battle flee to the nearest planet owned by the defender. All defending stationed forces return to the main fleet of the defender. The attackers forces will station themself and defend the new planet until new orders arrive. In the end, you see, if you won or lost the battle and what you were able to keep. If the defender was below 35% of the attackers networth, the planet gets empty, and is free for exploration again. Between 35% and 70%, the attacker keeps the planet, but all buildings on it got destroyed during the battle. Above 70%, the attacker also gets the buildings.

Should the defender have a strong enough defence to win the battle the planet will not change owner. And the attackers fleet will have to flee the planet while the defenders units gets praised by the planets population for its courage and fighting skills.

+1% military bonus on every successful defense
stackable upto 10%
and should be allowed only let's say every 6/12/18/24 hours.
to avoid players abusing this feature smile

Something i've been thinking for a long time is to have xp for fleet.
U defend successfully ur troops engaged in the battle take 1pt in def
U attack successfully ur troops engaged in the battle take 1pt in attack

In order to avoid abuse that points would be given only for epic fights (need a good amount of fleet lost by attacker or defender).

That would be complicated to develop since u would have lot of different troops in ur fleet and maybe a hard work for developpers for something that would not really change the game, that's why i never proposed it

well i feel every idea should be addressed at least partially, and even though im not a mod ill do thier job wink

these systems can be abused, both the experience fleet (which would be ridiculous on data storage and calculations btw hehe) and the defense bonus, ill pick the defense bonus one because it is a bit easier to explain. in this system a small family memeber could attack thier bankers occationally just to trigger this added boost, even if it is blocked from family members triggering it is difficult to keep allies from being able to trigger this aswell. short story, this wont happen lol
