Topic: _______ Stations

Already have defense stations, can expand upon how they work but with different abilities. Maybe change it so that these stations cannot be destroyed? The purpose is to have them be maneuvered around frequently and keep game active. Don't have cool catchy names yet.

Offensive Stations
When within a system, the family making attacks gain some X% attack bonus. (No restrictions on which system this station may be moved to)

Laser Stations
When within a system, lasers are built in 0 ticks? 1 ticks? for the planets owned by that family. (Same 70% of total explored planets to be moved to)

No Ops Stations
Planets owned by the family within the system may not be opped. (Same 70% of total explored planets to be moved to)

EM Field Stations
When your family makes an attack in such a system where your family has an EM Field Station there, lasers do not work against you guys. (No restrictions on which system this station may be moved to)

Info Stations
Lists any related news within the system. Could be tricky on how it works best, may make it like infiltrations except you get all recent report news in terms of the planets involved, AND/OR show the fleets travelling to planets in this system (including 0 ticker hovers). (No restrictions on which system this station may be moved to)

Sounds like a lot more hassle to manage which you are going to use and where.  Probably make leaders quit due to being annoyed about moving them constantly and what to build.

Valenka, If you combine this with your New tags, New abilities thread and give each tag responisibilty for 1 station each then you may be on to something,  with leader being able to control them all incase of emergencies. to give the leader responsibilty of all these would just be annoying.

then again, my thoughts on this idea involve a pretty much fully active fam. or atleast one hell of an enthusiastic captian tongue

Possibly, or might as well just give each family 1 of each to start with and make them unbuyable. Keep things interesting.

Someone laser trapping? Just move the no laser station there (keeping in mind it takes a long time to travel). Don't want to be PI/IP/CPFF/Sabbed then same idea, move to that system.

Surprise mass lasers during share wars, or just laser trap somewhere and portal when you know their "No Laser Station" is somewhere far etc.

Well if people are smart, they can set up the votes such that you effectively have 2 leaders instead of 1 tongue.

Could also make it so anyone with a special tag can move it around, like fleet admiral or vice leader, or my custom tag ideas tongue

The leader gets to choose one at the start, and can swap it at any time during the round for the price of a normal DS

that sounds the most reasonable option, would be interesting to see what people do with that

I wont say it is or not a good idea, but it wont happen, you wont find a developer to implement all those changes unless you pay him

I don't need developer to make ALL changes I suggested, and most of them are just a few lines of code, most simpler if not on par with what OH for the partax was doing.
