so a  year ago my friend got me the boxed CD set for my birthday and I left it in a drawer
yesterday I was out sick and I watched it straight through

now I am sad this show that I never saw got cancelled 9 years ago

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Ugh gf got me to watch it.  I got 4 episodes in then realized that it got canceled after a single season.  Can't get myself to finish the rest of it as I feel like the disappointment at the end would be overwhelming.

i think you should since it has good shows, the last one was one of the best.  but it refers to events you saw in previous episodes so you might wanna see them in order.

=^^= I has Firefly on DVD too!

I watched it when it was on air.  But I knew it was doomed to cancellation.  It was on FOX.  Anything that isn't Simpson or Family Guy related is ALWAYS cancelled on FOX.

Sadly SyFy never picked up on it.   They had said they had already a space age show at the time, and didn't need another one.

But dno't forget to watch the movie, which happily ties up several loose ends.  sad Though near the end there's a very sad spot.

@Yell: Thats the general response from most people who actually watch Firefly. I liked the movie although it doesn't exactly mesh with the series completely
