The problem is there are historical examples of riots and revolutions that spread great distances and became backed and organized by competing factions. So given our current technological status, it is sufficient that the riots are fueled by unrepresented competing interests who have jumped on the bandwagon.

But you are proposing that the nominal governments are mere actors serving a shadowy super government that is orchestrating events to justify a tyrannical world government. While possible, this is an extraordinary claim that is non-essential to the current events unfolding.

the poor vs the rich. same old story. if the poor have nothing left to lose, they go on a rampage. In former days these riots were caused by starvation. Today it is the lack of ipods, ipads, flat tv, the essantial "foods" for modern life.

14 year old chavs who riot to riot, no real ideology behind it. Shoot them with rubber bullets in one place and all riots are likely to stop, as the kids will run for their mummies.

The protests did start with a good reason (the guy who got shot by the police), but soon after the chavs took over the demonstrations completely and started the riots and looting. Violence and pillaging is all these riots are now. They have no sympathy or respect for the people they hurt, both physically and economically.

britain has too many illegal people. they have no rights, low income and no social status (class). These people get children and these are now grown up. they have no chances for a good future, their only hope is crime. the gangs control parts of the cities and the british police is unable to contain the problems any longer. the financial crisis has hit the illegals hard. many lost their jobs and homes. families are living in the streets. their children just needed a reason to rise. now the situation exploded. these teenagers realized, that they can strike back. the riots will go down shortly, but it won't stop for long.
