Topic: Comunity vs game !

I have been thinking what im going to take up now for YEARS !
I feel I must adress this thing as it nags me to much.

Ever heard a member of your fam say these things:

"They wont attack us becouse we are friends !"
I wont fight that fam as I have friends iin that fam."

And so on.....

What these people need to understand is that game and cumunity are not the same and will not be the same EVER !:S

I have fought people I like many times....
Heck I have fought rl mates from my hometown even....
Do you think you have to dislike osmeone to fight them ?

This is not real life its a GAME !
You should as a normal human beeing be able to be nice and chat on msn with someone and rape the hell out of him in ic without a problem.

If you cant do that something is very wrong with you and I sugest you delete master account and refrain from ever playing online games again.

Reason for this post is that I feel the game is the comunity and where the game went I have no idea !?
Can we allow this to be a game and play it as such and leave rl where its suppoed to be ? :S

The game itself has been dead for a good 6ish years.  Most arent here to play the game, just to use irc and the forums =p  The game gives something to do while doing that.

If that would be the case as far as I go I wouldnt delete out off mw I would delete my master account never to look back.

This is true to an extent.

Naturually your loyalties should lie with your fam - that's how it goes.  If your fam wins, you win.  If your fam loses, you lose.

However, having friends in other fams etc, can help you.  How?  Because of diplomatic relations.  If you can score a NAP or leniency in war, or allies, or whatever through your contacts, then you should!

Communcation is a big part of IC and so is the interaction between other fams.  This is why peoples reputations and stuff are important.  Eg, if you're known as a NAP breaker, then you'll be dealt with harsly and people will think twice about NAPs they make with you.  Similarly, if you have friends all over the place and you have good relations with them, it can aid your cause in winning the round!

Yes of couse but when you and your friends are in hostile fams you should stick by your fam and it thoesnt meen you aint friend with the guy in the other fam.

of couse using friends can give you opitions in the diplo area.

Well rep is not as important as it seams as my foes lies about my actions and half of the people who hear that dont know me belive it.
I cant put a guy in each steet on the planet shouting HE DID NOT IT ITS TRUE !:S
Becouse I cannot do that the lies will stand for beeing the truth.
