Topic: Saving the Game.

It is well known that the game is declining in popularity every single round...
I don't think we can ever get back to 5 or six galaxies with 120 families at 20 people per family...
But I don't want to see the game die either.

We all know Stefan has sort of forgotten about IC. and we know that the game is no longer advertised anywhere...

But is there any way to promote a dying game and at least get the IC population back to 1000 or so?

I mean... i know it can't compete with X Box or WoW or anything like that... but I think a lot of people are quitting not just due to growing up and having families of their own, and not just due to lack of changes over the years, but... lack of players to compete with.  Any trained chimp could place in the top 100 nowadays, it used to be a real accomplishment. And with such little competition, even winning a round isn't a really great achievement anymore so everyone gets bored. The problem has become rather cyclical.


So. All five of you still out there. I want ideas people! tongue

Would it work to make partnerships with other MPOGGs? We could advertise their site, and they could advertise ours... for free! (we all know no one is going to invest money into a dying game)

make it an app for facebook....then we tell all our friends....this is so much cooler than farmville....and angry birds....really? I think this would rock thier worlds....and would give us plenty of fodder for the cannons  tongue   so get ps to workin on that one....then maybe it make a lil money too...lol
