Your = possessive. As in, "your grammar sucks."
You're = you are. As in, "you're an idiot for not knowing the difference."

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

No Brussels? Pffffffff....

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

brussels is like a pool of shit on a hill.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

Bergen? Northern Netherlands?

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

i'm betting bergen norway.

if you drop by in leuven you can sleep here for a night.

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

I am planning this (tentatively) for August 16th or so through September 1st or so...

i am thinking like 3 days in and around the bergen area to see fjords. btw, how do you get to the fjords from the city of Bergen? i glanced at car rentals and they're way too expensive.

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

Well thats a common problem;

There are some organized tours by bus and boat i believe, they are all relatively pricey tho, but there is not much alternative. If youre up for a challenge i would recommend a bike ride tho, if the weather is suiting.
Depending on what sorta landscape you are normally used to i would really recommend getting into the norwegian mountains aswell, easily accesible from Bergen.

Apart from that, Bergen is always full of life during the summer and with your timing you might actually hit the initiation week of the university and colleges here, should be a good time for a night on the town and some loose fresh female students....

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

well as tempting as it is to bang some easily manipulated doe-eyed college sluts (who are hot and european no less)... i am already engaged. *sigh*

what about trains? are there any trains that will get me within a mile or so walking distance to the most impressive fjords? and also I am thinking of taking a train to Stockholm from Bergen via Oslo. is there some sort of Sleeping Car Train available?

Noir Cavalry:
well, give me ur MSN or msg me in irc.
if you or your friends could give us somewhere to stay for a night or two I would be eternally grateful! btw, how much are those bike rentals? and you never answered me about sleeping cars for trains to the Oslo/Sweden area. tongue

Elro/Primo: So I have priced it out, it looks like I will probably be flying out of Brussels. So one of you has the honor of hosting me! big_smile

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

There are night trains with leeping cars, they are however incredibly expensive relative to just having a horrible night in a regular seat tongue

These night train are however not very full booked, so most likely you can splurge over several seats tongue

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

i will have a prepaid eurail pass bought at a discount, with up to 5 free trips.

this is good news! big_smile

(although i hear the most scenic part of Norway is the train between Bergen and Oslo,  is this true? should i stay awake for this ride? tongue)

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

altho there was actually a documentary made once, filming the entire tranride from the front of the train, i think u can watch it online, the full 7 hours tongue

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

the full 7 hours yikes

who in his brain would live that hell of a trainride twice? come on, unless you can see all naked viking girls thru the window its not worth!!!

Re: Places to Stay in Europe

but Render where are you from?

it's all a matter of opinion. If i saw a 7 hour documentary on NYC i would kill myself from boredom cause i have seen it a billion times. but to someone from Norway, it would be riveting. hmm
