That is just plain silly. You can't win in Iraq, and when you invade Iran, your economy and military wouldn't be able to support it any more. Invading another country would just be cuckoo-cuckoo!!!

Invasion and war is a terrible thing. Even if the current government is cruel, people often opt that over war as they are hit hardest. It's understandable though, as americans never had a war in their own country, but remember how 9/11 shocked your nation.... Most people aren't really waiting to be "liberated", if they are, they'll start an uprising

I don't think we can lose in Iraq at this point, we've got the clear momentum behind the national government.  And no, having a democratically elected government order us out isn't a "loss" to me.  I think we did it right, having the army become loyal to the constitution first.

The real problem in Zimbabwe isn't that asshat Mugabe, its the million yokels who will pick up machetes and torches and kill whoever Mugabe hates.  Since mass casualties are somehow barbaric I don't see that being solved.  We only solved it in Germany by killing 11% of their population in six years.

Flint: Why Iran first? That is a democratic (ish) nation. I would think the places with true autrocities, like Defur and Zimbawe.. maybe North Korea, might be higher on the list that your friend Abajahdingdonglinglingamad.... (he is your friend right? And indeed, the US can't do it. It'd be "imperial overstretching" of a new kind. The US army will have to be around for decennia in Iraq to stabilise the democracy there (like the NATO was around in Germany for 50 years)..

Besides, the US isn't interested in Zimbabwe. There's no economy-driving resources to be found there. Pretty much like North Korea, there won't be an invasion, as the benefits aren't large enough... Political pressure ar most..

Lets see, army = easy to destroy, can do x amount of killing a year.

Army + nukes = harder to destroy, can do x^2 amount of killing a year

Seems to me we NEED to stop nuke wanting terrorist supporting nations first, then move to the other issues.

Iran is involved in both of those as well. Admittedly less so on the genocide scale, but severely on the human rights abuses. They lop the heads off of converts FROM Islam there. They kill Homosexuals, women cant vote, or go somewhere unescorted by a 'family member that is male' and I could go on.
