Ok, so I voiced this in #mod yesterday but obviously no one was around at the time except Primo so I'll go ahead and speak on it here.

This is not a criticism post (not 100% anyway) this is a just a helpful tip. The reunion date was rushed greatly. The idea was brought up the other day in chat and its a great idea to have everyone together for a sit down and stuff. However doing so at a time when there are galaxies still going on for at least another 2 - 3 weeks is a horrible idea. Now we have guys like RV popping up who may want to random in and see what's going on and will likely end up in a dead fam at the bottom because those are the only fams with empty space. RV most likely won't be interested in playing, but still, its the principal.

I understand that Andromeda was opened up as a result but it was opened up wayyyyyyyy too early.

1. PW doesn't end until October 15th. That is 2 weeks from now. It also cannot be ended early. There is a major war scheduled for eor that everyone actively playing IC wants to see the result of.

2. MW ends October 25th. There are still 4-5 fams competing for the #1 spot. Out of those top 4 fams, there are two alliances with an alliance nap that will likely decide the winner through yet another eor war. So that cannot be ended early either.

3. There will likely be people from PW and MW to leave and go to Andromeda because their families have fallen out of competition to win but unfortunately they will have an extremely thin pool of players to draft in because frankly, people are still playing in other galaxies. And on top of that, you will have people who are only focused on playing SD now so they won't bother with andromeda.

4. There will likely be some people who want to play again that will show up to the reunion but the problem is....we don't even know how many ppl will show up =p So if say...15 old players come by, the likelihood is that 10 will random into a galaxy and 3-4 will actually play actively. That means we have an extremely inactive Andromeda. Just like the last time it was opened up. So history is repeating itself. And even worse, they won't be able to play with their old friends because MW and PW don't end for another 2-3 weeks. And there are some people who don't even like andromeda, they preferred PW and MW so they don't have that option either.

Its not too late to close Andromeda down and start it up once you get a better idea of how to set it up. But right about now...... it kinda fails =p
