This was the first emboldened fringe right act since decades, Oklahoma being a possible exception.

Southern Poverty Law Center is a private political action committee.  Asking its opinions of right-wingers is like asking me or Flint to identify Democrats.

"Oath Keepers" asks citizens to swear they will disobey orders that violate the constitution.  It took off after Bush ordered the US Army to go door to door in New Orleans, wtihout court orders, and confiscate registered guns.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
