Anub said I accused him of being stupid, which is another untruth.  I accused him of being dishonourable and a bottom feeder, which he of course never refutes, he just insults.

Saying you can beat 10 families, now that IS a stupid thing to say.

1.  You might say it because you spent all round fighting tiny families, in which case it might true, but is revealing about your strat.
2. I suspect it's nowhere near 10 families.  My guess is some people are doing retakes.
3.  My guess is, however, that he said it because he's upset and feels the round slipping away.  I mean, what if you tried every low tactic in the game and still lost?  Because clearly winning with class and honour is not a big priority for anub.  But if they were to lose this round after leading all this time?  Ouch, that's gotta hurt.  For the record though I'll believe it when it happens.  663 has through their tactics built a pretty good position, so if they get knocked out that means a real skilled effort by their opps.  Either that or 663 is really not skilled at all, which I sincerely doubt.

flip, you have to be realistic.  Who is going to come to the defense of a little family being farmed?  No-one is going to do that individually - no offense, but if anyone did it I'd salute them, that would be pure class - in fact they are going to see what other opportunities there are.  Two ticks after 663 de-declared against 657, two new families declared, that's on them.

Right now, the illusion of strength of 663 is being punctured,  Colour me suprised for example that they've already lost the number one ranking.  So the opportunity is there for other families.  The bottom feeding argument doesn't really apply when you're taking planets from the #1 family - especially when they've made it clear that if you leave them in your systems, you "deserve" to lose them.  So a lot of families may see this as their chance to kick 663 out of their cores.

What else might stop such a thing?  Well, to put it simply, if they liked or respected 663, they might say hey let's leave them alone.  But here you've got to be kidding, between 663's tactics, insult, and ridiculous swagger, they've mae few if any friends this round.  Even now they are all full of it, saying who are you and you'll all play.  When the bully gets taken down, nobody feels too bad.

Do I agree with the people taking planets during a war?  Depends on where and how many to be honest.  But 663 right now is getting a dose of "live by the sword, die by the sword".  Except I don't think they are losing many.  Now, there's again a chance for them to post reports and actually prove their point for once.  Maybe they are losing a lot to vultures, if so it's pretty easy to prove.  But maybe, just maybe, they are losing a war to a skilled family fair and square, and their claim of vultures is their attempt to try to explain away that they are getting pwned by a team which would have been the underdog on paper, but is bringing it with old school skill.

I don't know which is which, but so far almsot everything Anub has posted here about which I've had direct knowledge has been grossly inaccurate, and you notice their "debating style", if I can call it that, is: never deal in facts, just insult the other person.  So right now 663's claim they are being vultured, well, call me skeptical.  They post some reports and show it happening, OK, but frankly just because they say it, I don't believe it.  I might from some other players, but they don't get the benefit of the doubt from me at this point.

Like I say, they prove it happening, fair enough.  They don't prove it happening, I once again say this is more BS from a dishonourable fam.
