A day or two ago I asked for the moral forumula but got the answer that nobody really knew so I asked some friends for information and did some research myself. I came to this conclusion:

alfa/constant=moral

alfa=your planets/enemy planets

The constant is the tricky part because it doesn't really make sense. Forexample: One time someone attacked with 78 planets and the opponent had 39 planets and he lost 10 moral. He repeated this 4x and 3 out of 4 he lost 10% moral but the fourth time he lost 11% moral. Also one time a person with 34 planets attacked a guy with 17 planets and lost 9% moral but when he attacked with 35 planets and the opponent had 16 planets he lost 8% moral??? Those were the exeptions. It's not perfect but I came to 2 conclusions:

c=0,215 with the first piece of information and the second c=0,23

So when I attack with 31 planets and the opponent has 20 planets I will loose : (31/20)/0,23=6,7=7% moral loss

The formula is not perfect because it's hard to find out what exactly that constant is, but this should help:)

You forget that when you see your morale loss.. it rounds up i do believe so the numbers you are seeing are offset due to rounding.. Because of that, its hard to find an exact number, but the more tests you do the more accurate you will see at this formula being. Hopefully you can get this to within 0.1% big_smile x

If you find it, dont show it to us all ardo... I'd prefer everyone to keep guesssing. Keeps strategy wrong, and thus plan B's.. Id hate for everyone to be able to plan thier EXACT morale losses sad

Anyways I think I solved the last mysterious part of this equation:

Although c seems to be a constant, it's not really a constant. It is a number probably between 0,195-0,245 on average about 0,23. I think that everytime you attack the c is a little different, the reason for this is to keep us confused so that we never know EXACTLY howmuch moral our enemy lost or we will loose. That's the only logical think I could think of and it makes sense to me:)

It might not be possible to know the exact amount but with the forumala above an approximation should be possible.

Now you can plan your raid much better since you will know howmuch moral you will loose! smile

i plan on it. i started saving all my moral data, it will probably take a while to get anything worth posting though due to the tremendous error present from rounding tongue

morale is basically this. You have 100k droids. They have 10k soldiers. You have 110% morale. You have 250 planets, they have 30. Because you're a big bully, your fleet poopoo's you and you lose more morale than normal.
