you might check in preferences to make sure you have the box checked that says advanced game mode,  that should let you build on multiple planets

I think a tweek that might work would be: make morale loss based on individual networth not family.

Author Ronald Kessler: [A]bout a third of the items are wrong and not in the book. In addition, the summaries of Obama, Agnew, and Bill Clinton are completely wrong, Contrary to the email, the book actually says Obama treats the Secret Service with respect and appreciates what the agents do. It does not say he hates the military.

It kind of reminds me of this bit of history.

Market Crashes: The Tulip and Bulb Craze
By Andrew Beattie

When: 1634-1637
Where: Holland

The amount the market declined from peak to bottom: This number is difficult to calculate, but, we can tell you that at the peak of the market, a person could trade a single tulip for an entire estate, and, at the bottom, one tulip was the price of a common onion.

Synopsis: In 1593 tulips were brought from Turkey and introduced to the Dutch. The novelty of the new flower made it widely sought after and therefore fairly pricey. After a time, the tulips contracted a non-fatal virus known as mosaic, which didn't kill the tulip population but altered them causing "flames" of color to appear upon the petals. The color patterns came in a wide variety, increasing the rarity of an already unique flower. Thus, tulips, which were already selling at a premium, began to rise in price according to how their virus alterations were valued, or desired. Everyone began to deal in bulbs, essentially speculating on the tulip market, which was believed to have no limits.

The true bulb buyers (the garden centers of the past) began to fill up inventories for the growing season, depleting the supply further and increasing scarcity and demand. Soon, prices were rising so fast and high that people were trading their land, life savings, and anything else they could liquidate to get more tulip bulbs. Many Dutch persisted in believing they would sell their hoard to hapless and unenlightened foreigners, thereby reaping enormous profits. Somehow, the originally overpriced tulips enjoyed a twenty-fold increase in value - in one month!

Needless to say, the prices were not an accurate reflection of the value of a tulip bulb. As it happens in many speculative bubbles, some prudent people decided to sell and crystallize their profits. A domino effect of progressively lower and lower prices took place as everyone tried to sell while not many were buying. The price began to dive, causing people to panic and sell regardless of losses.

Dealers refused to honor contracts and people began to realize they traded their homes for a piece of greenery; panic and pandemonium were prevalent throughout the land. The government attempted to step in and halt the crash by offering to honor contracts at 10% of the face value, but then the market plunged even lower, making such restitution impossible. No one emerged unscathed from the crash. Even the people who had locked in their profit by getting out early suffered under the following depression.

The effects of the tulip craze left the Dutch very hesitant about speculative investments for quite some time. Investors now can know that it is better to stop and smell the flowers than to stake your future upon one.

Orbit mentioned that big share wars are things of the past, Sad but true. Big cancel share wars was one of the more enjoyable parts of this game. I have an idea that might help this but it could also have unattended consequences as well.  I would like to throw the idea out for discussion to get other opinions on  it, im not for it or against it at this point.

What if all family's started out with a 48 hr nap with all other fams. I can see both good and bad with this idea.

there is a point where the other team isnt even attacking you and you have done more then your far share of damage and stop, but you continue, in the 2v1,

Hey don't complain about a 2 vrs 1 that your fam started you were offered a nap 2 days after the war started from the fam im in and you refiused.

A scope and yeah all I seen was hair when I pulled up, we were a mile off the road and hiked in when it was still dark,  it just started getting daylight as we walked around a turn in the trail and there was a cow elk about 50 feet behind a downed log, then we heard this crunching sound to the other side of us, it was the 6pt bull on a full charge headed right at us. we got ourselves between him and his girl friend,  I shot and hit him in the right eye and he dropped.  It was 7 am opening morning, I sent my friend back to his truck which was all uphill to go get some help. They arrived back about 3 hrs later and it took 5 of us and a dirt bike till 6pm to get it back up to the truck, im 6 foot tall and its back came up to my eye level, it was around 1100lb live weight  6X6

I had a 6 pt bull elk charge me here in Oregon, the guy that was with me jumped behind a tree as I dropped it at 25 feet with my 7mm mag

how about 16 fams of 6 players. after the first week mods kill off the 4 bottom fams and adds 2 more spots per fam then 2nd week cut the bottom 4 fams again and add 2 more spots or more per fam if the galaxy fills, this would leave 8 bigger fams to finish the rd

Indeed.  It's not rocket science.  You've been allowed to illegally draft.

Not a big problem, we are good enuf to win the round with 5, sinze that was my initial idea of the Pw setup, we gently give the rest this advantage smile

Yeah same here render, Devilz went inactive and our new inactive is named inactive.

it is against the rule to kill off an SS player.

I have a problem with this rule, i have an ss in my fam  that i did not kill off and all was going well untill he attacked and tried to run somebody from the #1 ranked fam without asking the fam, if we list him rouge he will delete and screw our rd  so i think if the fam wants to kill some one off  early because there going ss it should be allowed.

well of course there are notable exceptions.
but to kill him off just because he is SS isn't justified.

This same situation can happen with someone that isn't SS as well.

Don't get me wrong i don't mind having an ss player in the fam but one that dose not communicate in forum or chat  is useless
