A Cincinnati.com front-page link to a chart with dummy data, created as a design template for election results, was inadvertently posted early Tuesday morning.

It purported to show early voting totals in Ohio counties. However, no votes have been counted yet

"For Mitt Romney, it's one scary Halloween.  The Presidential candidate has just learned that tomorrow afternoon he will charged with violating the federal Ethics in Government law by improperly concealing his multi-million dollar windfall from the auto industry bail-out."

Extract from the article...

"In 2009, Ann Romney partnered with her husband's key donor, billionaire Paul Singer, who secretly bought a controlling interest in Delphi Auto, the former GM auto parts division.  Singer's hedge fund, Elliott Management, threatened to cut off GM's supply of steering columns unless GM and the government's TARP auto bail-out fund provided Delphi with huge payments.  While the US treasury complained this was "extortion," the hedge funds received, ultimately, $12.9 billion in taxpayer subsidies.

As a result, the shares Singer and Romney bought for just 67 cents are today worth over $30, a 4,000% gain.  Singer's hedge fund made a profit of $1.27 billion and the Romney's tens of millions.

The UAW complaint calls for Romney to reveal exactly how much he made off Delphi -- and continues to make.  The Singer syndicate, once in control of Delphi, eliminated every single UAW job --25,000-- and moved almost all auto parts production to Mexico and China where Delphi now employs 25,000 auto parts workers"

You're making yourself look ridiculous and insulting our intelligence - even more than usual.

If you even bothered to research just a little bit you would see that:

The poster that your're wetting your pants over is not, never has been and never will be an official poster of the EU.

"The poster is not a European Commission poster. It was part of a series of posters hanging in a corridor which were made by artists in the context of a competition by the Czech Council on Foreign Relations. This competition was not funded by the EU"

But as usual with you, don't let evidence get in the way of rhetoric.

He wont. Right after the election he'll put in an amendment to claim the rest

On this forum its not easy to tell the difference between someone whos kidding and someone who's insane

except you have no evidence for that assertion

Lets not forget that Romney's "Charity" is the Mormon church

Flint- you have the nerve to call me a liar

you are an idiot that doesnt even read your own links much less understand them

Pick on one of your so called evidences and ill happily argue it with you.

As long as you promise not to spam the forum with multiple threads to make it disappear when you're beaten - like you did the last time

Flint none of your links debunk anything, the claims there have all been refuted a thousand times.

You might argue about the causes but the planet is warming.

I think this might be a good idea- definitely worth trying for a while.

Pw changed a lot from what it used to be-  it was much more laid back and not as intense as MW.

I think a lot of PW players drifted away after the change allowing people to play in both glaxies. Maybe some of them will come back.

I think its worth trying for a few rounds to see how it goes.

Kingsnine - your posts would make more sense if you drew words randomly from a hat.

The money says Obama will win.

Its telling that the religious think that without their god they would have no morals.

Most of us dont need an imaginary friend to know right from wrong.

Praise the flying spaghetti monster in the sky- he's a higher power!

"Barack walked away with at least 6 figures"

Where did you get this from? your source does not say that.

For once, I'm in agreement with Justinian - this stuff is nonsense and has no place in universities. But i would go further and include theology, homeopathy, and all other imaginary nonsense peddled by the deluded or fraudulent.

Im not interested in Al Gores videos. I'm asking you whether or not you think the earth is warming

How exactly is a graph of Historic temperature measurements "propoganda" ?

You can argue about the causes - but are you really denying that the earth is getting warmer?

"Seems undisputed that temps flatlined for a decade, which isn't consistent with the greenhouse theory"

You could have said said the same thing a few dozen times over the last 150 years-

Oh look temparatures havent risen over the last 10 years so the earth isnt warming.

But you would have beem wrong every time.

Im not really sure what specific model you're talking about.

I think there are three questions two of which appear to be settled.

1) Is the Earth warming- I dont think there can be any dispute that it is.

2) Does an increase in atmospheric CO2 contribute to that? - I think that again is certain. The scientific model pedicts that if tmospheric CO2 continues to increase then global temparatures will continue on an upward trend.

3) Can they accurately predict from year to year what future temparaures will be? -  Nope  all they can do is predict a trend.

If your point is that we need to throw out everything we know because they cannot accurately predict year to year changes- I think thats a bit silly.

There is nothing in the article of any of its links to indicate that real Scientists predicted that temparatures would increase in a straight line by a consistent amount year ion year.

You would have to be an idiot to expect such a thing- predictions of trends are just that- nobody in their right mind would suggest that for each year it should be exactly on the line?

We have had and will contiune to have periods with faster than trend warming and of course with slower.

and regardless of that fact that 2000-2010 the trend was almost flat- it was still by far the warmest decade on record.

As for the "missing heat" nobody suggests we have a complete understanding of short term mechanisms, but there is plenty of published reaserch ( by real peer- reviewed scientiss) which suggests that "The planet
