This family has so many pros and cons about them. For starters, they have an excellent location to grow as they have the ability to have a big war and farm if they like. They are active and they have a decent nw/size ratio. Problem is...they don't have many experienced players or really, a great player that can guide them ftw. Its difficult to play a reshuffle round and not have the ability to take on the seasoned fams. Their round is their own to decide. Top 10 contenders or pretenders. We'll see

I only like this fam because of tico. Everybody else is pretty much useless/inactive. Allies aren't much support either. Just a matter of time before they get picked apart. Hopefully they pnapped 9/10 fams. Fygaro is usually bad luck =p

I like this family though. Once the galaxy merger eventually takes place, most if not all of this family's players are going to make strong additions to any team. This round they have the potential to break the top 10. Even now they've exceeded their own limitations so everything else is just butter for them. It would be a nice touch for them to finish higher than 808 though Contenders top 10

i didn't care for this family all round and I still don't. They will be farmed eventually. If they are lucky, then they may just idle around the top 15 without being noticed. The great thing about this round is that there is so much competition. The bad thing is that morale only goes so far. They better hope that everybody around them is hovering around 30% morale every day =p

Its funny, usually you see a talic fam and think, wtf, get their yama. This round I think Talic is extremely rusty. Not only has his family been inactive, but I haven't really seen him make good decisions this round. I'm not even talking about with the raid, but just with other things. I always say that when you take time away from IC, its always good to play a round for fun just to get into the groove of things again. Then you can play seriously once you get a round under your belt. Each round, different ppl step up, attackers work a lil differently and certain alliances operate in a way that you're not expecting. Maybe next round they can go mental. This round...just chill out Pretenders

Yay! My fam! man oh man, we suck this round Problem with summer rounds is that ppl take vacations, ppl go outside, etc. etc. Great for the rl, bad for IC. excellent lineup at the beginning and heavy favorites for top 5. But randoms didn't quite work out and activity was horrible. A top 10 finish isn't out of reach but unlikely with so many other fams who have a good chance of staying/breaking the top 10. We shall see how things play out. Pretenders

This round in MW has been extremely competitive as far as skill and such goes. 799 is the only fam imo that has really played a balanced round so far and they don't show any signs of slowing down. I haven't seen or heard of them doing a whole lot of farming and their attackers/bankers/resourcers have done a great job all around. The round is theirs to lose. Contenders ftw

I don't really like this family at #2. imo it is just a fluke. They only managed to really get so high thanks to a good ally choice and an easy war with 819. I suppose they made good decisions but I'm not convinced they are that good. Kinda reminds me of nightwish's fam last round. They just don't really do it for me. But nontheless, contenders for top 3

They are just going through the motions. If they win an easy war, they'll be in position to win the round. If they stay out of war, they'll be in position to win the round. Anyhow, they are just biding their time and seeing what happens around them. I can't really say they've EARNED the chance to be in the top 3. But they are here because they know what to do. I guess slow and steady wins the race. Contenders ftw

I like this fam better than 806 yet I think 803 and 807 are much better. So atm the only top 5 fam that is in its proper place imo is 799. They won't finish top 3 imo. Probably not even top 5. It all depends on who wars whom. Expo phase is more or less wrapped up. So no more checkers, chess begins now. Leaders will determine who win the round now.

not sold on them, I just don't think they can beat any of the other top 5 fams in a war. I predict them finishing the round with no more than 750 planets. Top 10 is definitely suited for them though. Weeeeee shallllll seeee. Pretenders

At first, I had them as equal as 799, but they've slowed down since and inactivity has probably crept up on them. I love the rank 6 though. Reason for that is, you have the motivation to break top 5, top 3 and eventually #1. You have the pressure of fighting off fams 7-10. So its up to them in which way they would like to go. But activity will need to pick up otherwise they will be taking a ticket and watching from the sidelines while another fam battles for #1.

If they show some more spunk, I think they can be a solid top 5 fam, but they are in the category of fams that I call the "default" group. Like, if this fam dies and that fam wars this fam then 810 can get top 5. So this fam is just hoping that they get dealt a good hand once the unexplored yama stops showing systems. Contenders top 5

They have a long way to go to be up there with the big conchitoes. *note, I have no idea if conchitoe is even a word* They are another fam in that default group. I just don't personally see them going anywhere. To me, they are an expo phase fam. Pretenders

I dunno anymore. atm, its really anybody's game. kobe vs. pierce. Both are going to play great defense, both are going to put up points and make big time shots. The real X-factors are odom/gasol vs. garnett/allen.

Boston has a couple of injuries to key guys and that hurts them a lot because they don't have a big body to keep gasol and odom out of the paint. Well, not when garnett is on the bench I should say. Lakers are not playing consistent ball and it sucks because when the celtics play good D, the bench gets nervous and makes turnovers. Gasol does stupid stuff when ppl pressure him. 7 foot tall and he can't back leon powe down? He hasn't learned how to make a hook shot? Seriously, gasol plays too soft for my liking. Just like Dirk, Yao and Zydrunas.

Odom has problems because he is more comfortable being the 3rd option scorer and using his size and length to free himself up on offense and defense. Basically, when gasol is uselss, odom can't produce. And what sucks is that he gets most of the blame when it's not his role to really take over the game. But he needs to because now the lakers have a big time advantage if perkins sits out another game.

Celtics can only win if ray allen is as productive as paul pierce. Ray allen spaces the defense and he can get to the hole if he needs to. When ray allen produces, garnett can make cuts and play the post. Odom and gasol gives garnett problems because garnett can't really shoot outside of the paint. That's not really his area. Plus without perkins, he's forced to play gasol which gets him into foul trouble.

Man, its just such an exciting series. Both teams have great players, coaches and such great ways of lining each other up.

Derek Fisher/Farmar definitely need to push the tempo against sam cassell and rajon rondo if they play because cassell is old and slow and rondo is playing on a bad ankle.

Then you have PJ Brown and James Posey who are super aggresive defense players and both require attention on offense with Brown in the paint and Posey at the 3.

I'm cheering for the lakers but praying for the celtics. Celtics deserve it though
