If i were a mod i would....
1. Bring back KOTH. We would have to figure out how to make it end properly. Last time it was kinda buggy when a family went for the win. Ideally KOTH would have SS hardcore rules.
2. Id improve the Wardancer. Hardly anyone plays this race in Milky Way and Pinwheel. Ive made a post in the Ideas forum on how to improve and balance them out against the other attacker races.
3. Id like to see the entire operations system overhauled. it should be just like morale with each operation costing a % of your total. Allowing an empire to use more info ops per day.
4. I would work with other mods to come up with ideas for each premade race to have their own uniquie spell or operation. Kinda lame that Partaxians are the only race to get a new operation.
5. Id like to improve existing spells and operations. Plant/Generate False Info, Check Ally, Reduce Food Production need to be reworked. Im not even sure Reduce food works properly. Infiltrate is overpowered and needs to be restricted or balanced out somehow.
6. Id like to discuss the idea of putting a cap on morale gain from morale planets. Bigger familys have too much of an advantage when they hoard morale planets.
7. Id like to see a 6th science added, "Agent Operations". Why is it that only magic has a modified success and defense against itself?
8. Josh brought up penaltys or a way to stop the tactic of coring all together. Im all for that. Its a shit tactic that needs to go away. The personal 35% rule needs to be abolished.
9. I would like to see the introduction of a new unit type. Its been discussed and argued about for years but never happened. A larger air unit and ground unit would be a good place to start.
10. id listen to the community and players. We need input from them. The ideas and suggestions from them are the most important thing this community has going for it. Its our game. Lets give the people what they want to play for galaxy set ups and types. Obviously withini reason, but there needs to be more polls and feedback from the players.
11. MARKETING!! We need to come up with ideas to attract more players somehow. All these changes and ideas are worthless if our player base is shrinking. We, as a community, need to be more welcoming to new players. We should be encouraging the community to help teach noobs.
