That's not a typo any more than it is grammar! It's the WRONG WORD(S)!
Brain fart, perhaps. But you made no such claim in your defense!
*dies of tetanus anyway*
Close to Obama's bill? Not remotely.
Schniepel, if he wanted to say that the US benefited from scientists both fleeing Germany before and pardoned after WWII nobody would disagree. That's a fact. He's not saying that. He's saying a bunch of crazy bull[spit].
Don't forget to stop making me pay for herpes and HIV meds. I'm tired of paying for you diseased whores.
You're*
Owned!
I'm willing to bet my life that a government database is not more valuable research data than the private sector already generates. ![]()
Baratheon, that's wild speculation. Have fun with it. I don't care. It doesn't make or back up any point. ![]()
They had some advanced ideas and brilliant minds. But you have no basis for claiming a century's advancement and you _grossly_ overstate the development of what were mostly only theories and plans.
Americans have gone leaps and bounds beyond anything any WWII German scientist ever envisioned in WWII. Maybe you're right; maybe they would have been as advanced as the US or much more. But you have absolutely no basis for that speculation.
"And further, Kemp, I am not your history teacher nor am I writing a publication or journal entry; research my claims on your own."
My point is that you're making up complete bull[spit] and I'm calling it what it is. You're fabricating facts. I can't disprove your fiction. That you have absolutely nothing to reference for any of your wild fiction supports my claim you're full of [it]. I challenge you to back up a single thing you've claimed. We both know you can't.
"Let's not forget that only the winner of a war gets to point the finger and go "Crime Against Humanity" and "War Crime"."
Thank you for referencing the millions of civilians which Americans murdered during WWII. It's a dark secret we tried to cover up. But nothing gets past you.
I missed the part of the bill that somehow advanced medical science through government bureaucracy.
>>"Slaves" in Ancient Greece weren't the same as African slaves that Americans brought, bound and chained, to the US. Albeit this is another example how Americans have a singular and provincial understanding of certain words, I won't digress down that way.<<
They couldn't participate in the political process. They were no equals to citizens. It was an example of the society not being "egalitarian" in even the political-access context. It stands as such an example. It's also an example of there being absolutely no equality if wealth, but that's an absolutely laughable idea and no such examples are necessary.
You fail to mention that slaves were also acquired through war, piracy, and trade.
"Slave" is an English word. We're not speaking Greek and you can't claim a translation error. When we say "slave" in English, we mean "slave." We have words like "servant" for servants and "poor" for those with little wealth. Ancient Athenians had slaves.
Unless you're trolling. Then hahaha. Good one. I honestly can't tell.
"The Third Reich was pioneering, inventing, and researching technologies almost a century ahead of any other nation in the world at the end of the war. Just because a bunch of stupid Americans cannot fathom a nation that was, and would have been, far more technologically advanced does not preclude the fact."
So by the 2040s we'll have catch up their their what? Jet engine technology?
What technology are you referring to? Please provide examples that we may be enlightened.
I repeat my request that you tell us more of Nazi anti-gravy, magnetic propulsion systems. Please helps us to become more enlightened. Your vague references do not satisfy our thirst for knowledge. How do you know these things? Where can we learn more?
I'll leave dealing with your jealousy of Americans alone. You're not paying me enough to even joke about that monumental task.
I find most things classical fascinating, but the idea of _any_ sort of "discussion" in this context is just silly.
Let's consider a few things...
Massive number of slaves. No equality here.
Non-citizens. Nope, no equality.
But, to their credit, women were... nope. Just kidding.
And after establishing that he meant "egalitarian" only among the minority of human beings there who could participate in the political system, we'd confront the fact that, no, leaders did not receive the same wages as soldiers and quartermasters and... whatever.
There's a bit to be said for the "egalitarian" nature of their political system in regard to access [edit: [for citizens]], but not at all in the "wealth distribution" context used here.
There's plenty to talk about in Ancient Greece. First, wanna specify a city-state? Era? Thanks. But this thread just opens up with a whole lot of apathy that suggests the poster was probably [researching this topic] or something when he posted it. There's absolutely no chance anyone would post such spam if they had _any_ desire to know _any_thing about the topic. Compared to today, he asks? That's just silly. Really, really, ridiculously silly.
Baratheon, may I mail you some history texts? I feel bad that kids today are embarrassingly ignorant.
I already explained on what grounds I labeled it trolling:
"A 10 year old with interwebs could answer this question in a minute flat."
And now you're similarly claiming to be so ignorant you want to "discuss" a topic you've literally not spent 1 single minute learning anything about.
I will admit, there's a thin line between trolling and just stupid.
[Play nice]
Feel free to link us infomation on this anti-gravity, magnetic field propulsion system the Nazis were working on and the UFOs you claim they were responsible for. "theorized on" doesn't mean "researched" to any meaningful degree and is about .00000001% of "had" or "developed."
You then take your wild speculation and extrapolate. Because who doesn't want to know [bara thinks] the Nazis would be living on Mars if they'd won!
NO carbon dioxide is produced? You pwnt me. ![]()
BUT I bet a bunch of other nasty stuff is produced! FALLBACK POSITION!
He also seems to be relying on some idea of morality. The word "shouldn't" ambushed his vocabulary in post #11 without a practical explanation of why not, other than perhaps his sense of right and wrong!
As with all trolling, it goes wherever you take it. And it grows as much as you feed it! IT'S ALIVE. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.
Going into space creates CO2. CO2 is going to kill us all. You're discussing the genocide of the human species! ![]()
Don't feed the troll. A 10 year old with interwebs could answer this question in a minute flat.
~Wornstrum~:
"This is mean to be a joke, but I wonder how many Americans would try and solve the debt problem by simply printing more money?"
Bad joke and terrible example: Our leaders are already doing that. ![]()
xeno syndicated:
"Capitalism is not a zero-sum game.
Obviously, Justinian, under the current financial system framework, it is a negative sum game."
Troll literally doesn't understand what you meant. ![]()
hahahahahahhahahahahhahahhahahhahaha troll
His wait was longer than average. Thanks for the spam.

"I meant to say that of the set of all political organizations with any relevance in Washington that receive public funding, at least 95% of them are corrupt."
I didn't realized Planned Parenthood was primarily a political organization.
You haven't given any examples of other organizations which are escaping prosecution, you just repeatedly insist they exist and this is 100% political. I don't misunderstand your reasoning; you choose not to respond to mine. I'm arguing that there should be more prosecutions of every organization which evidence convicts on the facts. You're arguing that nobody should be prosecuted because it might not be fair because some organizations get away with it.
You claim this is a failure to understand your reasoning. You'd state your point more succinctly if this was the case. Instead, we get vague references to "types of justice" as if anybody but you is talking about something other than the law. Instead, we get "prosecution is hypocrisy" as if you're proposing an alternative to the US criminal justice system which we're all talking about.
Since you're neither proposing an alternative nor discussing proper action by the system (which you broadly condemn, so it's incapable of any proper action), we have nothing else to discuss with you. What of your "reasoning" doesn't anyone understand? You haven't proposed an alternative system. We're discussing what should be done in the system; you're vaguely saying this system is 100% wrong no matter what it does in this case. They're different discussions. You have no input on this case beyond complete condemnation of the system, and we're only talking about this case. What's hard to understand? We're talking about different things.
Vague quotes don't change anything. Making [literally] crazy presumptions and basing other ideas on them is just silly.
You even quoted Krugman, who's a fine elitist, academic nutjob.
That some idiot told you we all need to be slaves in a socialist state to be free doesn't make it true. (It doesn't even make sense)
That some idiot claimed history backs him up vaguely without examples doesn't make it so.
What you said 2 posts ago about American democratic society is simply false; the US constitution was drafted with those concerns in mind.
On one hand, you excuse voters of their paramount responsibility to govern themselves. On the other, you claim that limiting their freedom will somehow make them more enlightened and responsible.
I don't know how to say it nicely. Pretending that there's some sort of ideal system to protect voters from themselves is stupid. You're talking about _raising an authority above voters_, which is also know as tyranny or a dictatorship. All such powers to seek to grow, marginalizing and even abolishing all voter power. Such a thing is as bad or worse than idiot voters.
I haven't challenged your assumption that there are many corrupt organizations.
But you declined to offer a single example, though I requested examples. You vaguely refer to "them" as if I know which organizations you're referring to.
Why are you stressing political motivations? Are prosecutors harassing Planned Parenthood without evidence? If not, then it's legit. And we need more legit investigations and prosecutions, not less.
And your claim that prosecuting Planned Parenthood is "at the expense of public health" is complete bull[spit] too. People are getting hurt by Planned Parenthood stealing money intended for their care, and people are getting hurt by Planned Parenthood investing time and energy (again taxpayer subsidized) into fraud rather than providing care.
Accountability is good. Demanding it does not hurt people; it helps them.
