really? they didnt have a tool that would measure the exact number of illegal downloads made during each person's individual viewing of the video and then edit the video before they reached that part of the video to give them real numbers? you're a [fluffing] moron.

Yeah, well it's still a good policy to rely on theories that have a good track record on the macro scale, and limit the radically new ones to the micro scale.

And I think you will find that, in political history, equality has been gradual. Little increments here and there lead to more bolder levels. The radical changes in a short period of time also tended to lead to disaster.

it is, and low government interference has much more of a track record then any other.

so let's go at it this way...

..i'm curious, i think(like me) you realize that there is something wrong and that we are in hot water
so now i want to know what you think really happened.. how did we get where we are
how did some of the biggest banks collapse, what do you think really happened(try to start from the begining) because i think you've been falsely led by the media(those bastards tongue) and i think you have a mis-understanding of the core problem, as it seems like you believe the housing crisis is the "Crisis" which i previously thought before I did my own research and shut off my TV tongue

so please try to make me undesrand what you think and why you think the blame should fall on the liberals or the liberal leaders

1. i have said time and time again its a credit crisis, yet, because you're such a dumbass, you keep saying i think the only crisis is the housing crisis, learn to [w00f!] read, you worthless [w00f!].

2. it doesnt surprise me that my posts dont make sense to you.

3. i dont watch TV news

4. i dont watch/listen/read any media news outside of local news.

5. what makes you so confident that your sources are more credible then others?

there, i responded to your pathetic excuse of a post for you. [w00f!]

Justinian; thats like asking if equality has been tested. no, because if you get close to it, your definition of what it is becomes more strict. its an ideology, it cant be achieved.

i think as technology continues to advance as quickly as it does, and governments continue to move as slowly as they do, one of them has to give.  either there is going to be anarchy or theres going to be stagnation,an economic depression, stunted technological growth, and increasing amounts of anger directed at the government possibly violent possibly not that will cause dramatic changes to exist. In short, i think the nanny state and socialism will fail and not recover.

New missiles contain better tech:
  Yup.

Better tech in the missiles will make defending against the missiles almost impossible:
Non-point; Defending against missiles has always been almost impossible.
Have you ever wondered why the kill rate of Patriot Missiles rarely exceeded 50%? Ever wondered why the so called Star Wars program never actually happened? Ever wondered why our best missile defence system consists of little more than filling the air with thousands of bullets and hoping Nietzsche was wrong about God?
I'll tell you why; Because missiles are [] hard to hit.

missiles are hard to hit. but ever wonder why there are new versions of patriot missles? they're getting higher and higher hit rates. the technology is becoming available to make higher and higher rates of success. while hitting old missles is hard, hitting brand spanking new high speed missles is alot harder. if Russia is going to secure their MAD by making new ICBM's i rather have that then have them try to keep the US from progressing in missles defense technology.

gladiator, did you read my last post? "it was liberal's pushes in washington that encouraged and forced banks to give out credit to people that wouldnt be able to pay it back" im talking about credit, i know its a credit problem, stop insisting that i dont.

im too content. im not motivated to get a better job or better degree. everyone is like "you're squandering your gifts" and im like "so?" whats a better job going to get me? a bigger house? a fancy brand of car? who needs that shit? i rather do an easy job that sustains me then a difficult one that gets me a big house or fancy car.

sell your computer

its very easy to blame human nature when your ideals fail in real life; but that doesnt make it a valid excuse. it was liberal's pushes in washington that encouraged and forced banks to give out credit to people that wouldnt be able to pay it back, housing being one of the main places where this happened and that caused the crisis.

greed had something to do with it, i'll give you that. but saying greed is the cause of the economic crisis is like saying humans is the cause of the economic crisis. the greed of people didnt exponentially increase to the point where the economy collapsed, greed has always been present and didnt cause the problem. the liberals gave PEOPLE, HUMANS, the chance to make shitloads of money at large risk and that caused the crisis.

thats the stupidest thing i've ever read 420. Greed is present in good times and bad, its not the cause of jack shit. the cause of this is the liberals in the US. maybe european liberals are better, but in the US, the liberal attitude is horribly destructive and reckless.

fokker, as i stated before i think the new missles will have better tech and will make a defense against those missles, nearly impossible, unlike the older ones that are fairly slow.

destroyyou, yes, we all know of nuclear fallout, but because a large number of nukes havent gone off, we dont know for sure exactly how bad it is. if you look at other instances where a huge amount of debris was launched into the air, typically a specific continent was only effected. the area that nuclear fallout would hit, could very well be exaggerated inorder to discourage it from ever happening.

Exactly. As far as i can tell, the Palestinians are just trying to get into the worldwide media. They WANT media coverage, because if everyone looks away they know they are absolutely screwed."

well, they're also trying to make the Israelis miserable.

there is no valid strategy to solve Palestine's problems. Not only are the Israelis militarily superior, they have the backing of some of the strongest nations in the world. its either give up or make Israel an Undesirable enough place to live that Isreal would be weakened enough to the point where they could take it back, while at the same time hurting their image internationally inorder to prevent international help to the Israelis.

he said end the word, not world.

as for whether we would end the world; it depends on how you define it. i think we are capable of wiping out humans and a large number of other species, but i dont think we would destroy all life.....  and i dont think acouple nukes would be all it would take. we're talking about nearly every nuke made being used to wipe out the majority of the race, and then anarchy finishing the rest. a handful of nukes could cause cold enough climate to kill billions.
