Ok, based on that discussion in #mafia I am voting Wendy. The crux of the discussion was Primo went pretty hard trying to protect Wendy.

This is a guess, I repeat a guess. I am voting PS.

The reasoning, I imagine for the mafia and SK to be after the same person it would be a high profile kill, which gives us about a half a dozen names. So long as the doctor is still in the game the SK and CK have the potential to be pro town roles. I think that PS has the potential if he were godfather to order a hit on one of the higher profile players (KT, Primo, Genesis, Torqez, Eltie).

So for these reasons I have taken a random guess and hope that it proves accurate. Now I'm off to work, see you all later.

We were 12 million, you guys were 20 million. We had 800 planets your guys had about 1500. And you mention nothing of the fact that we were fighting to other families (which is part of why our nw was up a little, because we had to have fleets for the fighting we were involved in). There is no honour to be won beating down a family that never stood a chance.

I was in 4911, for the record of course we were going to badly when you were twice our size at the start of the "war" and we had already been fighting with two families (and you would have known it, no one declares wars without infils).

We didn't give up either, ask your bottom two bankers what I did to them for about 5-6 days straight, they made little to no income. And towards the end of the round I started killing colo's science just for the sake of it. That jump we gave WL was all that we could afford, being so much a smaller family than you. So pull your head in, there is nothing to be proud of for your family there.

Well the fairest method is the one suggested by Arsy, that makes it convenient (or more so) for nearly all time zones. As for the other galaxy only catering to Australia/New Zealand with the original idea, there are shift workers in this world Nove. I know I'm one!

It was SD that brought it to my attention. But yes, the best possible solution will be adjusting the start time, if they saw their way to do that. The idea is not to inconvenience any one group, the idea is to assist as many groups as possible.

So basically because we are a minority we get get lost? How small world of you Nove.

Arsy, that was the first idea I suggested in #mod when I started talking about this and it was not well recieved, but I agree that would be the most elegeant solution!

I appreciate your input twosidedeath.

You will still have people with different levels of activity and that are on at different times, people will still play with other people they get along with, but rather than some suffering all the time the suffering can be shared. In answer to your specific points:

A) "your saparating people by area, most people have freinds from afar they like to play with and there will most likely be an empty galaxy as people like to all pile in one galaxy."

This seems to be two points in the one. In answer to people having friends from afar, this is very true. I have plenty of friends from afar. It would be nice, however, if I could share the suffering of key important points that happen, for example playing turn and turn about in galaxies with them (Playing in early gal round 1, late round 2, early round 3, etc). I can't say whether it will result in an empty galaxy, I hope not smile

B) "your providing a large window of time for your family to be vulnerable to little resistance, as everyone would be on at the same time, they will be off at the same time. the beautiful part about having freinds from afar is you can actually have a co-owner style family and have the family running 24/7. you are now taking that away(probably not as no one will actually play this way icon39)"

As with any galaxy there will be people who are active at different times. Even if the early start suits them, it may be the end of the day for some and the start of the day for others, so there will still be varied times when people are on. I don't think that aspect will be taken away too much.

Hope I have answered your points smile

Well if it doesn't matter to you Gennvw, in what way was your post constructive?

The speed of the start is all important in galaxies such as SD. But also there is the convenience of being able to co-ordinate with people for the start of the round, use of resources within the team, etc.

Wrong, Render if you dont want to play in the early gal you can play in the late gal. There will be people from europe who want to play in the other gal, shift workers etc. And believe it or not the world is not divided up into Europe and America, there is a whole other side of the world!

That's what started me thinking about it. I figure if they are seperate galaxies too it gives people the choice.
