"How long did it take for Britain to shift from Monarch to Democratic rule."

From wanting Democracy to getting it? About 1 civil war if I remember rightly.

- You have made flags/coats of arms for the races in Imperial Conflict
- You have these on your walls by your PC
- You think of yourself as a Wardancer/Quantam/Camaar etc... (I think of myself as Quantam, I've even introduced myself as a Quantam to people, I have too much spare time)

White turned away from the forever setting sun and began to make his way down the side of the crater, his footfalls disturbing small pieces of rubble and dirt which hit the remains of the passenger compartment with a metallic tinkling sound, "The door rail in the waste room should make a good splint, but I don't know what you will tie it on with." From the semi darkness at the front of the compartment came a clang as White stood on what used to be the waste room door, "Oh yeah, I'd forgot about that." Crouching in the gloom he extended his wristblades and delicately worked the points under the rail, curled his fist, and then quickly pulled upwards in a rising ark. He did this again with his other hand, at the opposite end of the rail, and the length of construction grade metal came away easily.

White made his way back through the scorched and scarred remains, "This should be just the right size too." He proclaimed proudly. As he stepped back into the light of the forever red sun Uruk was speaking to Nox, "...of life support. I don't think we'll need it again." In his hands he held several lengths of cable.

The three stood wordlessly around Maskless for a moment or two, then suddenly Nox shouted, "Now!".
He dropped to the ground, braced his foot against Maskless' crotch and savagely pulled on his leg, causing the snapped bone to slither back into place and maskless to howl with pain. Quickly White pressed the splint to Maskless' leg, gripping the limb as hard as he could, and an instant later Uruk was tying the lengths of cable arounf the length and splint. As soon as he had tied the last knot he shouted, "Away!" And all three simultaneously leapt away from the howling maskless predator as he staggered to his feet brandishing both pairs of wristblades.

Maskless glared at the three, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

Well I asked two ladies but apparently that counts for nothing, possibly because what they say is different to what the old MEN believe.

In my experience most mothers are pretty open about the pros and cons of tampons and pads, so I doubt that mother force their little women to use tampons...

"your first period is pretty [somewhat] painful on it's own, and using a tampon for the first time [sorta] hurts even if you don't have a hymen"

That ^ was my sweetness and light, and I'm sure you will understand if I take her word over the word of some old bible-thumpers tongue

Yes you have, you lost at least two that I can think of. Yell however is correct as far as I can remember.

Done some research...
Are you oldies aware that most girls dont have hymens any more due to the popularity of tampons, and that something as simple as playing rough can break it?
A friend of mine aparently lost hers whilst horseriding.

Two bullets plus shrapnel? So did one of them shatter or was there a third shot that shattered?

But yeah, I agree that in situations like that you either run, curl up and die, or go all terminator on the buggers.

"How was your shooting Fokker?"

I was in Thailand at the time, in one of the shitty areas by the shitty river. I took it in the stomach mainly because he was too messed up on Yaba to shoot straight. That and he seemed to think that people really do hold their guns sideways...

Anyway, the bullet lodged in my spine, and I don't mind saying it hurt so much I cried and begged for someone to kill me. It was like a rose made of pain was inside me, with the path of the bullet as the stem and the impact on my spine as the bloom. I still have nightmares about the pain... not the shooting, just the pain... and roses, which is where my analogy comes from.

It's still in there; at the time they didn't want to touch it for fear of crippling me, which is fine by me because I would not have let them touch it anyway. I'd consider it now, what with medicine advancing as far as it has, but after... 8-10 years what would be the point? It's probably all crusted over with bone now.

Oh, it was a silver short nosed revolver, a .36 I think, the [paddlepop lion] thing sprayed gunpowder everywhere.

I've been shot but I didn't hunt down the shooter; being shot would have made that extremely difficult had such an urge come to me. Irrelevant to your very good point, I know, but I just thought I'd say. smile

>To see a grenade like that, the flight response is strong. To some, however, the force of duty, ethics, morality, it weighs like a mountain, and is just as unmovable.<

My flight response didn't kick in until after I was shot, don't know why... I'm suddenly wondering if the soldier was single, there was a studythat said that single men are better at making tough decisions. Was it a study, or was is Andromeda Strain?

>There are people who believe their only duty is to themselves.
Then there are people who do not believe this, but instead believe in helping, assisting when need is present.<

Given that I believe in enlightened self interest I find myself wondering what I would do... hopefully not think too much.

>There are those who run to a fire, and those who run from a fire. The difference is important, and does exist.<

Aren't the people who run into a fire the ones most likely to die?
