In fact not really a waste as it won't cost you much. Though failing them sucks yeah, gotta agree to that, but that is what you have dedicated oppers for. Keep em lower on NW and higher on agent/wizard counts, and there you go. Done it myself plenty times, and for me it's enjoyable just to watch them go "wutttt".
About 'The Art of War', I'm not much of a reader, sorry. I can hardly get through the compulsory books in school.

How is it not hard to figure out whether it was a fake or not? Well you could ask your opponent: "Did you op me?", but that would make no sense as the obvious answer is "No" regardless of it being true or it being a lie. Think intelligently about what happened? Yeah because everyone in this game takes the time to process things they see *cough*. There's plenty people who'll act rashly and impulsivly, and who'll fall for PFI's if you were able to plant the same op every time. "look 2 failed CPFF's on an important portal, 2 failed hypno's on pop banker, me want revenge" or something like that. Not everyone is as intelligent.
Furthermore, in my previous post i said " try to find a planet that fits your criteria.". This is perhaps the most important in deciding who/where to PFI. For instance, if you have infils that indicate skirmishing in a certain area between 2 fams and you've  found out where one of the attackers' portals are, you could plant false failed CPFF's. As they are already skirmishing and the portal is probably of importance, that'd give them a fair reason to go a step further than just mere skirmishing and perhaps start an all-out war.
Furthermore, if they were to give you the option to chose for the op you want to generate, they should increase the percentage of ops you fail as well, let's say, comparable to estorms/real cpffs. But then again we get to your first point where the random fail would prevent the op from being worthwile, as it would just cost you too many agents/wizards to make it worthwile.

It may be a fun element to the game for more intelligent people who can see through the false infos and filter out the real failed ops, however, this game has too many people who do not fit these criteria and therefore this fun addition will surely prove too overpowered or make things too confusing.

As it stands now, it may seem as a waste. However, this particular type of "waste" is fun to abuse and at times even effective. Fun effective waste. And most importantly, not too overpowered.

It's a good op to waste an op with before tick, like you have 7 ops and tick ends in 5 mins... well why not waste that one op, right?

I mean it's not hurtful to you as it is (nearly) impossible to find out who casted it, only thing it costs is a couple gc or oct used to do the op.

Allowing you to choose what op it becomes might make it overpowered, too easy to trick people. At least now there is a chance they are not tricked.

"You try to frame a Partaxian and fool a Revalon pop banker into thinking he was Hypnotized, only to get a failed Force Field attempt on their home planet? DURRR!"
Then don't do it on their home planet. Do it in a system that is close to their border with the fam you are trying to frame, and that preferably has a DS in it. You gotta think "when might i CPFF or Sab a portal of a banker?" and then try to find a planet that fits your criteria.

Khadaffi's campaign against the rebels started off by him claiming the rebels were out to split Libya into East and West... so splitting it up would only help him as it would only prove his initial claims to be true.

For me it depends on the kind of SS player. I rather kill off the SS bankers, they are entirely useless and just use space. SS recourser/attackers on the other hand can be useful for core cleaning and such, if they're active enough. And usually they can outgrow individual members of a fam bank system after some weeks, so that's not too bad either.

From aleph's primary reaction it was already clear that he wanted those planets and wouldn't accept anything else.

I quote from AA:
09:02    AA    lol Aleph
09:02    AA    your a man on a mission

therefore, it was already clear that the option to pnap would not be accepted and that Aleph would continue to bug you about the planets.
Now let me ask you, why isn't there an option to trade out planets up there? why wasn't there an option to trade them out even before we started running our mouth? Kollop's initial post only states those 2 things you said in #71. Nothing about swap-outs, planet trades, or anything alike.
What does this mean?
A) you couldn't read aleph and thought he'd accept a pnap, which i doubt as you would've just offered swap outs if you didn't care about the planets nor about farming us.
B) you could read aleph, you knew he wouldn't accept pnap, there was no option to do swap-outs or planet trades and you were only out to find an excuse to rape us.

Now you have even added a new, sad excuse to your list: us running our mouths.
Why is this excuse invalid as well? Your fam yourself became offensive and disrespectful and threatened to farm us, instead of offering planet trades. now you don't go saying "we would've offered planet trades had you guys not started this thread" because i am sure you would have just said so in this thread, as that would've just made aleph look bad and made you guys look like an incredibly jolly bunch of guys that someone should ALWAYS sign naps with.
You didn't however and proved just how agressive, offensive and disrespectful you are and how you were out to farm us.

Dude, i have quoted posts in this thread that show proof. are you really to blind to see proof when it's in front of your eyes? or are you just choosing to ignore it like you ignore to change your 2 liner posts into decent posts. post #54 and post #46 both contain quotes taken from either posts from your fam or msges aleph posted. maybe reread those posts because it seems like you haven't and have just blatantly posted how "stupid" i am and how i do not provide any "proof"

1,468

(78 replies, posted in Universal News)

right because my fam would've stayed below 35% for that long. That's just a stupid statement. Everyone knows how easy it is to wait for a fam to get into 35% range, especially if we are only 32% to start with. A couple jumps in a small fam and their NW is easily lifted above the % you need...

But that is not the point of what i meant by contradicting yourself. The point was your 2 line texts are filled with shit. you first ask me to provide proof when you yourself are not providing any. I, on the other hand, am actually taking time to form decent arguments, even though they lack proof according to your view that dismisses every bit of proof i give on the hand of it putting you in a negative perspective.
The fact that whatever i write is not proof in your eyes because you believe otherwise, does not mean it is not proof at all.

1,469

can you please stop contradicting yourself. stating stuff like "stop making comments with no proof" followed up by the rest of the post is just idiotic.

Swap outs was just a bluff amar, they knew we wouldn't accept it and just offered it to make us look worse. Hydro's post up on this page proves that.

1,471

(78 replies, posted in Universal News)

True, i'll give you that. It does not help a slight bit, as can be seen from this thread. However, does it not help because of the post in uni news or because the other fam wasn't planning on cooperating in the first place?

If you get ignored or get msges back like aleph did, then it very well is.

1,473

(78 replies, posted in Universal News)

What, do you call that disrespectful? Him stating people shouldn't nap you? Judging by how he didn't get a clear and meaningful response to his remark about getting back the planets, I do not think that was disrespectful at all, rather a bit impulsive. Threats about how you are going to rape us because we want our planets back, when we do not accept a pnap without swap outs, THAT is being disrespectful.

1,474

(78 replies, posted in Universal News)

wait wut, why would i trade out planets if i'm still gonna get smashed. are you that easy to lure into exposing yourself?
What you just stated shows how it isn't about the planets you owe us. You yourself say it is because we ran our mouth. Well let me refer to the first page of this thread again... Aleph actually made a polite post showing polite msges he sent, until the point he was ignored in chat where he did get mad.
However, judging by the msges he got, he had reason to get mad.

quote:
Week 30, 22
Ok we have lot of planets in ur 'core' note that it was when ur fam was supposed to be big, now u are no more in some of these systems. These planets we got them when we attacked 91 that was farming you for days. I didnt hear you complaining when we entered ur core to kick their ass, 3 weeks later u want to make plts finding a paper.

You have two choices:
-we keep them and we pnap
-we give back but we cancel and take much more
Signed, Guapo of Rigo Tovar (4702)

and now are you even gonna claim we were first to be disrespectful? then you gotta be kidding yourself.
In fact, my first post, which was clearly meant to be disrespectful, was a response to earlier posts in this thread that i quoted in my 7th post (post #46 in this thread). I did not start running my mouth. You did. Just because my fam fell down in size does not mean you can go disrespect us and when we contest your remarks you call it "running our mouths". That is just idiotic.
