thats not true. there was a discussion in #andro as announced that there would be and this was the conclusion reached. notice that this thread was made by a player not a mod

you ppl are wasting your time.

1) they arent doing allies because without access to each other's forums, alliances really dont do much for most players, and just give big active fams even bigger advantages than they already had.

2) they cant change it to 12 ppl until there is a reshuffle. its only been 1 round since the last reshuffle so it is extremely unlikely that they will do that.

3) they cannot change the number of sectors in andro without stefan. 'nuff said' as they say.

first of all, the main reason it will never fill up is that ppl will get killed off.

but why is that so bad? honestly, why is everyone so obsessed with having the explo phase end, or having the galaxy filled up? the explo phase is always the funnest bit anyway. but more importantly, the end of the expo phase tends to signal the end of most of the hard fighting and the most activity. therefore the round becomes more dull after it. filled up systems allow for slightly safer infra booming. if u want to sit around doing that then your a pansy economies still grow at the same rate, portals still get built, big wars can still happpen. wot is the downside to a galaxy not being filled up?

hardcore really doesnt require you to be all that active, i dont know why ppl are convinced of that. think about it. if u have morale and opp limits then to make a certan number of attacks/opps you have to come online many times a day so that you can keep up the attacks. its completely different with hardcore. you wont fall behind on your attacking becos you arent using your morale as efficiently as those super-active 20 hrs a day players. in Hardcore you can come online and attack whenever ou want, as much as you want. hardcore is in fact alot easier to play well while inactive.
