>his wife aided in once or twice without his consent

Ok so here's how it went: some banker (call him George) left his IC account for a few days. WITHOUT his consent his wife -who's never played IC before- -who doesn't know how to send aid- independently decides(?!?) that she's going to log into her husbands account -on a website she doesn't visit- and send her husbands family members aid.

>But, I am going to argue that the Trinitarian view makes no sense. To say that Jesus is God but is also the son of God (independent of the identity of God) is speaking nonsense.

The early Catholic church debated about whether Jesus was God or the highest created human (Son of God).

Long story short they were pretty much split and it's one of those things that everybody still debates.

47 million year old fossil is supposed to be the earliest form of primate.

Now here's something curious:

"The fossil was apparently discovered in 1983 by private collectors who split and eventually sold two parts of the skeleton on separate plates: The lesser part was restored and, in the process, partly fabricated to make it look more complete."

Why is a fossil discovered 25 years ago just being announced? What exactly do they mean by "Partly fabricated"?

You smell that? That's the smell of bull excrement.  Why would they need to make it "look more complete"? Do they mean: "look more like a human and less like a rat" ? With the scores of missing link fossils having been proved fake in the past, I'm very very skeptical of this one and of evolutionary science in general.

>Ease of understanding would have allowed me to create the current ICPG map myself if it was made in a format as I propose.

The problem is only YOU would know how to make the map format. If someone else came along and wanted to make a program that used the map file format, when they opened up a binary file they would just see seemingly random bytes of data. That's what I saw when I made my graphical family news analyzer and is what made me avoid using the current mapgen format for it.

>How important is extensibility? Honestly.
It's ridiculously important. Say a new feature requires piece of data per system and is added to the mapfile. Programs using your map file would have to be recompiled to parse the file differently without error. With XML, a new tag is represented. Since the program doing the parsing is looking for specific tags rather then data in specific positions, extraneous tags would be ignored and older programs could still read the newer extended format.

>This is why I proposed my format. Can I take the xml data, use word to insert tabs between blanks and star systems, then export to excel?

1. I don't know what you're saying you want to try to do
2. Can you do that with the current mapgen format?  You're proposed format is is identical to the one we already have.

Be nice to Flint tongue We all say retarded things now and again.

The increased file size is not too big of an issue. If anyone was that worried, xml files compress very very well and could be distributed zipped.

Although future mapgen replacements should have the ability to make a map file on there own, so whether or not the mapfile format is tool specific or not will be irrelevant.

I'd propose using height and width, as it's more intuitive then systems_x/systems_y
