It's a matter of respect. Gifts are a sign of respect. A sign Obama is not showing. 1. Shes one of the most rich and powerful people in the world. She could have almost anything she wants.

2. The United States is in an economic downturn as is much of the world. There are people in OUR country who are jobless and homeless. Starving.

3. She's the queen of England. Not the queen of America. She doesn't need to be put on some sort of pedestal by us because she's not doing anything for us.
