I'm 33 right now. I've been chubby for years, just in the last two I've lost all muscle tone. But I'm sure that will go when I get enough sleep regularly and cut down on the stress.

I'm morbidly obese. That will continue until I get a regular paralegal job. I eat maybe two big meals a day and sleep afterwards. My job, my duty is to be fully alert and awake on the graveyard shift so I can deal with people paying cash and drunks fighting and old ladies breaking their legs. That means I am dragging my ass the rest of the day, too tired to drive to a gym without falling asleep at the wheel. And if I go get a good hour's workout in the open sunshine, then I am not sleepy and I pay for it that night.

Oh yeah, drinking beer by the gallon doesn't help much either.

Joe I would recommend you get an old Atlas book on bodybuilding because that talks about sensible diet long before anybody discovered transfat. I mean you do not need a scanning electron microscope to know that a pastry soaked in butter or little piles of spiced breaded fried chicken are not healthy foods. It should not get to the point that you put those things in your mouth and suddenly read a Ph.D. dissertation that makes you spit them out.

Your reaction is a bit extreme in line with some people I've known who are anorexic btw.

I wouldn't let him drink at your house at all anymore. It's up to him to take care of himself and he isn't. Before a diabetic faints he gets stupid. Could you give him his insulin without killing him with an overdose? Then don't let him start on the path to coma.
