Why would Euros want to come to America? Aren't most Americans descended from a European country?
There's nothing wrong with concentration camps. The British Empire did it, and the US did it. A concentration camp isn't necessarily what we think of when we heard about Nazi Germany.

You miss the point. It's a matter of subtlety. Bush's aggressive foreign policy has disrupted the balance of power, and now tensions are rising between the great powers. This is why Russia and China have since become military allies and have made efforts to limit US expansion in the Middle East. The missile defense system is merely an effort to extend US/NATO influence and control in to Eastern Europe, and Russia is upset because it comes at their expense.
Now, I have no further need to debate in this thread. If people lack the intelligence to see the political climate, then that is their disability.
Nobody runs around and says "yeah, I'm going to conquer this country or station troops in this country for my benefit." No, there's always an element of subtlety involved.
Like I said, it's an excuse for the US to extend its political and economic influence in to Eastern Europe at Russia's expense, and that is why they are pissed. It's kind of hard to meddle in their affairs when foreign military forces are stationed there.
Which is why there won't be any "shit hits the fan."
Ideology is simply a front to justify a country's power structure, and all wars are motivated by political and economic gain. I'm surprised you haven't figured that out yet. But I disagree with Yell, because I don't think Russia will start any wars with Europe, since it would be costly for them to. In fact, a coalition of Western European states, as militarily insignificant as they are to our Empire, could push Russia back by themselves.
The real motives behind the US defense system is not actually defense, but to extend its political influence in to Eastern Europe at Russia's expense.
minarchy is not monarchy. It's minimal government.
And Sarah Palin lacks the intelligence to rule, which has been demonstrated on a number of occasions, especially in her debates. Her religiosity is also reason for why she should not be president. After Bush, I am convinced that a person with strong religious convictions should not be president.
Aside from the gun and mask which are provided, what else should you do to minimize risk?
But the $42.00 also includes the other foods like tuna, oatmeal, soy milk, cereal and rice.
Anyway. maaaad energy!
I just realized that the reason I never had any energy in my life is because I never ate fruit or vegetables. Yesterday I decided that I would buy a lot of fruits and vegetables, and I spent about $42.00 on blueberries, cherries, grapes, cucumbers, apples, tomatoes and other foods like tuna. Needless to say, it's a very different diet than the one I was eating before.
And zomg. I have mad energy. I'm actually doing things I should be doing.
Or maybe it's a placebo effect... anyway
There should be a law that forbids running for office on a religious platform and making policy decisions based on religious conviction. Every public official should make decisions based on what delivers public services efficiently and rely only on empirical facts.
The religious right basically serves to unintentionally ensure that the policies of the Democratic party that aim to intervene in our social and economic lives are allowed to continue unopposed.
She is motivated by power and imposing her religious right ideology on the nation, and she thinks she has a good chance of being elected as president in 2012. So she has resigned her office as governor of Alaska on a national holiday so she can focus on advertising herself politically... and possibly more. But honestly, I will never vote for a person so devoted to the cause of the religious right as she is. I'd sooner vote for Obama than that witch. In fact, if she wins the 2012 Republican ticket, I will know that the Republican party is truly broken. I'll become so furious with the Liberals and the Republicans, I'll start my own party devoted to old school conservative values - Minarchy, Meritocracy, Social and Economic freedom, and free trade. And I won't stop fighting them until I have driven those religious fanatics and liberals alike out of government for good!
In every Western country, the upper middle class always gets raped by the tax system.
Why are Canadians so sensitive about their culture, so much so that the state enforces legislation to promote it through various means like subsidies and state sponsored rewards? WTF? Personally, I think it's kind of dumb. If people don't like Canadian, you don't have to regulate their cultural exposure.
Huh?
I have played a single campaign for 2 days straight.

Maybe that would have been a byproduct, but it wasn't America's motivation for going to war. We just don't give a crap about other people's happiness.

A fancy way to refer to the balance of power.
The US was in Vietnam to maintain the balance of power, not to improve people's quality of life.
Just when I thought I was the most psychopathic of ICers who frequent the Politics forum, I'm surpassed 10x by Yell.

North Korea is already more isolated from the world than most tribal communities, so newer sanctions are sort of expected. Thus, it means short of military threats, there is very little the US can do to North Korea to harm them. And the US is already in Iraq and Afghanistan, so an invasion of NK by the US seems unlikely.>
We could always just use our air force and whipe them out.
Guys rating guys is just wrong

I see no difference with the U.S. soldiers slaughtering civilians like in this instance.
The U.S. isn't at fault for the crimes occuring, its at fault because it didn't bring justice.>
Eliminating everyone in the party was for security too, but it was still excessive. He did not need to kill the 20-80 million people he did to guarantee his security.

I do want to say, though, that there is such a thing as wanton excess. We may be able to limit the violation of human rights when it's motivated by wanton excess (Hitler and Stalin), but we can't when it's motivated by pragmatic consideration (security, power and profit)
What does everyone think of the Western world uniting?
