Good for you!
Forza who let you back in? X(
Not wanting to meddle, but while being as stubborn as a mule is like Orbit, deleting is not. I would be unpleasantly surprised if that was the case, which I doubt.
Godo post, it will be taken in consideration ![]()
I guess it's a boring reality X(
something please?
Thx hoity, I'd just like to point out that Smaug was Tupac... ![]()
I figure I'll add some to this thread, strictly about MW though as I haven't really played any other galaxy seriously.
I didn't play in the betas, but started right after and still plenty in time to hear about the Confed War and the Donut Rumble. Notable families from this era would be Potatoes, of whose members I don't really recall except for Chili, Spaceborne with Evael and Erehwon, BeTa conglomerate with Ara, Cappadocians, existenZ, Altruist's Harkonnens with Nr 42, and High Heaven's Olympia. Of course there was Starstrike too, Zane, Sogil, Mace's fam with Thankendar.
Rounds 1 to 6 were predraft with alot of illegal drafting going on. It was a tumultous period and probably the best IC has seen. Notable families were TNT's Munchers, the Dragons with Doomsville and Bahamut, the GoDs which was my own fam, along with Warsong's Phoenix Dawn. There were also the Harbinger of Death, who I think were also from the late betas, with Smaug, Disektor, Minuz1. Commonwealth reused Olympia's theme and had a good fam with Beleriand, Painkiller and others. Impire and TIF also had proeminent families.
Round 7 and forward saw the introduction of drafting and a rise of some new families like the 1st version of AYB, with myself, Optical Illusions being the main coordinators of an all star lineup that was possible due to 8 draft slots, and it was common to all families. Munchers remained a powerhouse for this period, as well as families made by Impire and the appearance of new fams like the Dyslexics with Grimmie, Weedkillers, Torqez and others. There were also players who had fantastic but sporadic rounds, like Greatest, Hastur and others. This time also saw the appearance of PP in MW and with him the introduction of cores.
This period went on for a good while, maybe up until round 20-22, where major drafted fams would control for periods, with AYB and Munchers claiming most of the rounds. Meanwhile, the player base started dwindling, draft slots got severely cut back and players mostly started to play with friends of many years.
From rounds 20-22 on, we have seen the rise of some new players like Parrot, but gameplay is much more laid back now and the pressure to do well is mostly gone. The competition is much more scarce, mostly due to the very small player base.
And I'm done because I would be here all night else!
Poor timing there ![]()
It was open, but it was closed again as there is an issue with resetting that already caused us problems when resetting MW a couple of weeks ago. We'll try to get it sorted asap.
You guys are screwed, Nandro is playing with people with a sense of purpose and strategy now, you'll never have him back ![]()
Hi aleph ![]()
How do you solve that equation?
spam!!! X(
Oki doki. Extra information ftw.
Is that question to me Zarf? I'm not suggesting you should aspire to anything, it's a free world and you're entitled to have your opinions and express them the way you like to. I'm just saying that in the real world, politics does not follow ideology, unless it's reacting to something.
A prime example is the US invasion of Iraq (I'm not bashing it again, just giving example): you could see it wasn't a decision based on ideology after the US government bounced from one ideological explanation from another, trying to justify it with iraq not complying to UN sanctions, then wmd's, then freeing iraqis, etc etc. It was never an ideological issue but a geopolitical one, and that is why I think it's a waste of time to debate political ideology on an online board. ![]()
To be honest it wouldn't be very interesting, because I have to say my way of seeing things is pretty much like Justinian's, in a "realpolitik" sense of things. I would probably get bored reading all the ideological rants and fall asleep with a grin on my face. Oh well ![]()
I wanna see flint when he has to debate a real life opponent that he has "ignored for life". I hope it's on CNN. Should be interesting ![]()
Why you bump threads?
Frankly one of the things that hasn't helped IC at all has been a tendency to be too polite for our own good. There are real matters that need to be adressed, and masking then once again so as not to hurt some sensibilities is not the way to go about doing it ![]()
As everyone realised by now, lately alot of players have resorted to slandering, insults of various kinds (including racial slurs) and are becoming increasingly offensive to their fellow players.
This will now be kept under a much stricter watch. IC needs a friendly atmosphere to keep players interested, as well as catering to possible new joiners. Insults and general rudeness do not help the game at all.
As such, we request any player who feels disrespected in any way, whether it happened in the forums or through ingame messages, to contact the mod team and present your case.
Pending evaluation, this will result in official warnings and consequent block and deletion of the offender's master account.
Please remember this is a game where you are supposed to enjoy yourself with your fellow players. Help IC become a better place for yourself and others.
I'd just like to say that it wasn't spam, so option b.
The warden threw a party in the county jail
The prison band was there and they began to wail
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing
You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing
Let's rock Everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock!
