Actually it is what we Americans call "street smarts".  It's a devolution of what our mountain men knew--those were like, Rangers with guns.  Now if Bobby Jo come down the mountain with half his arm gnawed off by a momma bar what saw Bobby ropin' her cub, you would admit it was a cryin shame, but it must be acknowledged that Bobby had been a damn fool who should have seen that coming.

wth has obama done without teleprompters? everybody noticed how weak he was at Saddleback, and Biden is just a bully.  Her teleprompter broke during her speech and she adlibbed part of it.  Besides what are the odds Biden can get through a debate without being a dumbass?
