Nazis fell fullsprung from outer space. No humans resemble Nazis.  You must never point out somebody is hypocritically indifferent to the abominable results of their utopian schemes by comparing them to foolish Germans who went along with the tide of public opinion in the Third Reich. Cause that's mean and has no place in our public discourse. BY ORDER!!!

That would not crush our morale

That would make us sort of peeved. A kind of homer simpson, "die die die" rampaging stomp em after their dead peeved.

Winning a 3 year war and occupying a conquered nation with a 5% casualty rate, now THAT apparently breaks us

ANY surgeon who refuses peer review or oversight is a butcher. The fact he was doing late term abortions --and God knows how late because he refused to explain-- is just extra scummy.

There's a saying "abortion kills 50% of the patients" well Tiller sometimes got them both, and society worked hard to let him get away with it because oversight of abortionists is just too "extreme".

Should he have been shot dead on the church steps?  No, and argentina shouldn't have sheltered Eichmann from extradition, Hitler should have shot himself in 1939, and japan should have surrendered after iwo jima, while we're talking what Should Have Been.

I reread "hunt for Red October"

"During her last overhaul, the Dallas had received a very special toy to go along with her BCQ-5 sonar system. Called the BC-10, it was the most powerful computer yet installed aboard a submarine. Though only about the size of a business desk, it cost over five million dollars and ran at eighty million operations per second. It used newly developed sixty-four bit chips and made use of the latest processing architechture. Its bubble memory could easily accomodate the computing needs of a whole squadron of submarines. In five years every attack sub in the fleet would have one."

Some guy on the radio made point that kim jon il can't mount his nukes onto his missles yet

And what he figures is, since kim jong il makes a little money selling ballistic missles to anybody who can't get arms out of NATO, he'll corner the market on nuclear weapons

I hate how hollywood will come up with a halfass story and acting and special effects that would go straight to video except the studio also had movie rights to some other work of art that better talents made famous, and they steal the goodwill and nostalgia due others for their crap. Eg

Transformers
Starship troopers
Star trek
Car 54
Flintstones

In fact the only exception I can think of is the Addams Family franchise

Or no, it isn't funny.

China thrives by demanding not only divestment of capital but labor

Somehow Europe doesn't seem able to create the sense of community that allows you to work on state projects for free

Must be some racial failure...
