when you notice that you somehow have Talic and Impire in your phone's contact list with their RL faces next to it.

Here the list of alternate version of Elrohir.

Elro - obvious shortened version
Elroy - ask josh..
Elwhore - I think I pissed off DYT or TR at some point. Can't remember exactly.
Elnoob - this one makes no sense :S
Elrie - This is what eltara countered when I called him Eltie tongue

When I started playing IC back in the day I used several random nicknames based on things that kept me busy at that time. Some from books like Dune or The Hobbit or games such as Baldur's Gate.

As I said: I liked picking new names every round, but when I started using IRC I figured I needed something permanent. My brother was still playing back then and he and some people he knew from his fam were hanging out in #loriel. A channel made by Galadriel who didn't realize till later that it was supposed to be #lorien. Either way I was into reading lotr at that time and it seemed a fitting theme. So I checked some names on the net and there it was: Elrohir, Son of Elrond.

Later on I did regret picking the name. However, the nickname my friends called at that time 'w00t' (derived from my RL name Wouter) was already taken by someone, so I decided to leave it as Elrohir. smile

I remember that round, we were allied to the system lords I think. Their downfall made it impossible for us to expand anywhere because their core was overran by pesky fams. X(

A player leaves his team to play for another team. lol! Welcome to the world of professional sports!
He might have done it for the money, would be no surprise.
He might have done it for the new challenge, could be.
Either way it happens all the time and it doesn't make him a less awesome player. Jealous and disappointed fans make a poor group of lebron haters smile

ps. the response video was a rather poor effort for a joke tongue

Back in the 90's and early 2000 a lot of actors and actresses who played in regular tv shows had to cover up their tattoos one way or the other. Nowadays you see that less and less. I would say it is more accepted then it used to be.

/end factoid.
