Honor is for the weak. NAP breaks are strategic and smart now. Just look at how many familys will find any excuse possible to void a NAP. Its the way the game is played now. Nothing in the rules says you have to honor a NAP. If your within the 35% range, your fair game.

Go Portgas!! Farm them until they go inactive and delete!!

yep its over. 3 more weeks of this crap is retarded. MW Should be ended this weekend.

@mods: you guys really screwed up this time. A few rounds ago mw was ended early WITHOUT a vote. Circumstances were nearly identicle. Even though the majority wanted it to end early you came up with some lame ass 'margarin of victory' bullshit. Defeats the entire purpose of voting in the first place. you failed to take into account the NON VOTES. Half the galaxy voted. Their vote should of counted as a 'yes' for ending it early. DUUURRRRR!!!

Look at whats happened the last week or 2 since the vote. Its a ghost town around here. No chatter. No activity. Does the mod team really know what they are doing? There is no consistency with them. Im sorry, but most of you have little to no true gaming experience outside of IC. What qualifys any of you to make serious game balancing/altering decisions? Cuz you were chosen by a previous mod to become a mod? So were you chosen cuz of your gaming background or you happen to be good friends with a current mod?

Part of the blame for IC's decline is on the players. Alot of it should be on the Mod team. Im friends with all of you guys and you know this isnt personal. That being said, ya'll need to get a clue. Your apathy, complacency and laziness are NOT helping the game.

Its an expression. a saying. Meaning: winning or losing didnt matter. i had fun either way. thats all im saying.

vmode is irrelevant to my statement.

Yes....i said 'win or lose' it was fun. Do you really have to pick apart everything i say??

882

(152 replies, posted in Universal News)

Doesnt seem to matter anyways. A day or 2 before the war everyone went inactive for the most part. I couldnt really do anything as far as planning was concerned cuz my daughter was over. Everyone basicly gave up before it started.

We all knew we couldnt beat 09 or 36 weeks ago. They won the war the moment they cancelled. I had fun up until this point. It would of been alot funnier if all of us had went in to vac mode. I should of done it BEFORE the war started, that would of made more sense. Oh well....

Losing isnt the part that bothers me about all of this. Its everyone in my family went inactive. Now i have nothing left to do but delete and go to Pinwheel cuz im not gonna sit around bored for another 3 weeks.

Win or lose....it was still an interesting round. I consider it mostly a success.  I had fun. thats what matters.

Republicans in Hell

While walking down the street one day, a Republican head of state is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to Heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in." says the Republican.

"Well, I'd like to but I have orders from higher up.   What we'll do is have you spend one day in Hell and one in Heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."

"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in Heaven," says the Republican head of state.

"I'm sorry but we have our rules." And with that, St. Peter escorts the Republican to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course.   In the distance is a club and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him, everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, hug him, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at expense of the people.   They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster and caviar. Also present is the Devil (a Republican, too), who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes.

They are having such a good time that, before he realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives him a big hug and waves while the elevator
rises. The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on Heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

"Now it's time to visit Heaven." So 24 hours pass with the Republican head of state joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well then, you've spent a day in Hell and another in Heaven. Now choose your eternity."

He reflects for a minute, then the head of state answers: "Well, I would never have thought it, I mean Heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in Hell."

So Saint Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to Hell. Now the doors of the elevator open and he is in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags. The Devil comes over to the Republican and lays an arm on his neck.

"I don't understand," stammers the Republican head of state. Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and club and we ate lobster and caviar and danced and had a great time. Now all there is a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

The Devil looks at him, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning.  Today you voted for us!"

893

(145 replies, posted in General)

Wow. you guys are a bunch of overly sensitive bitches. Some of you are really upset over this thread. I think its pathetic the way a few of you are reacting to this. If none of those statements are true and they lack substance or fact, why are you so upset about them? you ever heard the saying "Thou dost protest too much" ?

A normal person would of said "yea whatever" and moved on with their lives. But not you guys. One has to surmise that there is a bit of truth or fact in some of those 'jokes'. If there wasnt, ya'll wouldnt be so upset by them and protesting the thread and its very existance. Truth stings doesnt it?  Dont wanna let the masses know what the Republicans are all about, right?

Funny thing is: i can give a shit less about politics. Im just tired of listening to Republicans piss and moan cuz Obama won the election. Well guess what guys...

HE WON THE GOD DAMN ELECTION! GET OVER IT! GET OVER YOURSELVES!! DEAL WITH IT YOU BIG (CENSORED) BABIES!!

You republicans have been acting like spoiled little children ever since he won the election. You didnt get your way so now you throw a temper tantrum. GROW THE F UP!! Accept the facts. OBAMA WON THE ELECTION!! Now you have to act like adults and move on with your lives. It will be ok.

yea.....didnt think so.

Accusations? naw dude. Truth stings a bit, eh? LOL Maybe its time somebody throws your bullshit back in your face, Flint. Instead of laughing at them, you act like a bitch and whine about it. GET OVER YOURSELF!

i didnt post this for debate. I can give a shit less about your opinions. I just posted them for a laugh. They are funny, yet sad cuz most of this is true.

Here is another thing to add to those lists:

"republicans have no sense of humor."

Im not gonna give up or delete this round. Ill go down with my family.

(152 replies, posted in Universal News)

So..... Ive had an epiphany tonite. I now see things much clearer than before. Let me explain...

1. I dont care what is right or wrong anymore. Im gonna do whatever it takes to win from now on.

2. Honor and fair play is for the weak. I, like so many others, are no longer bound to what the rest of IC considers to be honor.

3. I dont care about how all of this transpired anymore. Whats done is done. Now i am gonna do what i need to do to ensure my family survives this. By any means neccesary.

4. Most of you are beneath me in both intellect and skill in this game, therefore, your opinions are meaningless to me. I dont care what any of you morons think of me as a player anymore.

@everyone who plays in Milky Way: i will go down in flames if that is my destiny this round. So be it. The next round will be interesting to say the least. Ill just leave it at that.

"May the Force serve you well."
