I'm guessing you've never owned a touchscreen phone if you're shocked that a voting machine with a touchscreen would ever have a problem correlating the point you touch on the screen to the data in question.  smile

Problem?  Yes.  Issue that can necessarily be attributed to a conspiracy?  No... at least not that issue (that was just way too obvious.  Worst... conspiracy... ever!).

To be fair, those 22 were probably local Fox News employees who told the station who they voted for.  tongue

Is Einstein Cola kept at a canned high-pressure state using a secret Einstein compression method?

Simon, there have been... 4 separate instances of the electoral vote going against the popular vote, including in 2000.  What rock have you been under?  smile

New drinking game: Every time Flint posts a voter fraud post, ARFeh takes a shot.

ARFeh's liver is doomed.

2: Current system works.

Note: This is a US-specific answer I give.  I would not necessarily recommend the electoral system for most democratic nations (except perhaps India).

Oh, and this isn't to say that I have no problem with the primary process.  I definitely take issue with that part of the electoral system.

And ARFeh's liver would pretty much surrender.

If you're watching one news station:

Take 1 shot when:
Romney declared the winner in Colorado or New Hampshire
Obama declared the winner in Florida or Virginia

Take 2 shots if:
Obama is declared the winner in North Carolina
Romney declared the winner in Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Nevada

Take 3 shots if:
Romney declared winner in any of:
California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Main, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, DC, or Maryland
Obama declared the winner in any state not mentioned in the above.

This is based on the latest Real Clear Politics state by state polls.  States which polled at a difference of less than 2% between candidates=1 shot toward the person behind in polls, 2-4% difference=2 shots, states where a winner is pretty much presumed=3 shots.

Considering that we've been in election cycle mode for nearly 2 years... yes, "ending tomorrow" counts as "almost."
