I like that the episodes are 47minutes long. almost a full hour yikes with so little time for advertising, no wonder Fox canned it tongue New shows are around 42mins for an hour episode unless it's HBO or a station like that

Up to where i've watched they haven't explained (or i haven't noticed) the reason why they attacked. The AI's mentioned that the humans were the first ones to invade.

For the Chigs to have planets that are water rich seems odd to me. There were a couple of times where the water contacted the aliens skin and they boiled out. You'd think they would want to avoid water planets... Like the aliens from Signs who burned from water but invaded a planet of 70% water and attacked creatures who are 75% water... spit on the aliens and you kill them. \o/!

Yes i like tongue I'm about 2/3rds of the way through the season and it's been pretty good. It doesn't look like it was a cheap show to make with all the CGI and decent variety of sets they use. Story lines are good for the most part.

Only thing that irks me is if the aliens had been watching humans so long, why attack the colonies first? Just go straight for Earth and wipe it out with no one on Earth or in space knowing you exist. Thats a pretty good first strike situation. Instead they give up the surprise and take out a newly made colony and a colony ship... Of course that would have altered the entire show by the second or third episode tongue

Hey Sol smile I saw your name in the rankings in MW but wasn't sure if it was just someone else or not. I'm in MW too. And yeah, same thoughts for SGU. I think disappointing is the best word i'd choose for the series. Or boring tongue

How can they even attack you? They are 1st in NW... lol

Disgraceful for a family so high to be attacking a fam so low. I'd be embaressed if i was one of their attackers.

Anyone actually believe they buried his body at sea? I'd lean towards they either brought it back to the USA and/or they incinerated it. There's no way they would leave any chance some fanatic could find the body and make some kind of shrine thing. Will have to wait and see if the mansion they got him in turns into something meaningful for terrorist/alquada people

"- Fixed bug where attacks and other actions could be performed after a galaxy had ended if a player had not logged out yet"

Go "un-fix" it!  sad  that was something  i enjoyed doing, and who cares? the round is over, it does no damage tongue

If i recall correctly, as long as someone was in the game after the round ended the galaxy couldn't be reset.

- If a player has an exploration ship en route to a planet all other members of that player's family are notified about it if they try to explore that same planet. Players are given the option to "Explore Anyways".

Awesome big_smile Didn't ever think of it but it's going to save so much time and headaches.

Great work on the other fixes and updates smile Thanks Ps

But you still make income even if you're starving. Now if you don't have end, then you can't build anything but wizards and refinement stations. But you can't make refinement stations because you've got no end to build MFs to make iron...

I liked the past two episodes. If they had done more episodes that were halfway interesting like these maybe it wouldn't have been cancelled.

Population should be the most important. Followed by food. Can't have your pop starving while trying to work. Revolts result!

You should only be able to train as many units as you have population.

Buildings should use a predetermined number of your population as well (to run the machines, collect the taxes, tend the crops, etc..)

How many people do you need to have enough genetic diversity to not end up with inbreding errors? I'd assume given the limited number of people they would do a communal breeding program with the females so they could keep the largest selection of genes available. They would have to eliminate the concept of a monogamous marriage obviously and use strict breeding programs so certain people didn't breed too often with others who share relatives. "Love whoever you want, but breed for the species" tongue

Wonder how many of the population were cross eyed with genetic disorders tongue
