Yes, but it is a war game after all, and as in real life the smaller countries have to ma concessions to the bigger countries. I agree the planet comp is the problem where the comp is way more then the family can give. But how do we fix this problem? Becuase it manifest itself every round where something needs to be done or do we accept that this is a part of the game and should not be frowned upon but considered a viable strategy?
You can always vulture another family, but keep in mind the community will know you are vulturing, and thus you have to accept the fact that while you are busy vulturing one fam, another will do the same to you.
I think vulturing should be part of the game. Simply because it is a viable tactic.
And thus, we have imperial confict.

we were not twice your size, you guys had a total NW of 16 million, we had a total of 20 million. we also didnt save much at all. like i said, i wasnt part of that war as i was busy looking for holes in 00s cores. Now, this has always been a pin in my side. A hot topic, everyone does it, but everyone frowns on it. The issue at hand, vulturing.
I want to know what the IC community thinks of this "Vulturing". Is it legal? is it legit? is it dishonorable? or is it just part of the game and needs to be used whenever possible?
So let me give you a scenario..
Fam x is in war with fam y. fam z has been planning an attack on fam x for some time, but they are in war with fam y. What do you do as the leader of fam z? fam x has beeen attacking and clearing you all round, but they are obviously having a hard time with fam y, so do you go in for the kill and eat their eyes out? or do you wait for them to finish their war so they can come back and bully you agian?
I mean, its a war game right? war is ugly. In a war, when you have the upper hand, thats when you strike, you know there will be casualties, but your job is to minimize that as much as possible for you to gain the win.
so agian, what do you do?
i think this is one of the main problems with this game, it has become so peaceful, so many rules, so many regulations that the game developer could have never imagined would take place but this game is hardly run by the moderators as much as it is run by the community.
so as the community, lets make decision about this. Is vulturing, a viable option in this game and should be used more aggresively? should this be frowned upon and the players who do this are just as bad as the NAP breaking scum? or do we agree this is a viable strategy in your epic march to conquering the galaxy?

& there were no destroy cash on me (i was ninja) there were some iron hits from amsterdam but that was it. i had more than enough agent defence.

now the colo thing, hes a leader, he just doing what he needs to do to survive, its a war game after all, i would probably have attacked if i were you though, seeing as how bad 4911 was doing agianst us, i wouldnt have considered that vulturing, i would consider that the element of surprise. OFC though, if you did happen to rape us, i could have told colorado "I TOLD YOU SO!" haha. for a while now i have been trying to get him to war you guys.

im sorry RSSU, just from my point of view you were really noobler lol. Im not in your fam so i do no know the circumstances, from my view you were camaar, with 1.2 mil nw, with few planets, spread across your core (like a normal attacker) who had no more then 2 planets per core. I swear ricking was your rezzy guy so i focused much on you because you were only threat. agian, i apologize, not trying to make you look like a fool but it sure was quite coincidental that you happen to jump fleet as soon as i started attacking, only to be run lol, then you jumped agian, to be run. I did manage to beat your 1 mil droids though, it was tough! as i had no funding.
It was good while it lasted, all fun and games nothing personal. I just thought when i had seen you jumped (we infiltrated you) that you were going on the offensive (105k figs, 1 mil driods). i thought that was a portal breaking fleet so i decided to leave my figs out because i had alot more then you so i did indeed take a huge chance on luck that you didnt search a couple systems to i had purposely left you in but didnt attack you so that i could keep running fleet. Now if you did jump straight figs you would have annihilated me.
and that is the beauty of this game at its finest.

because in my whole ic career i have strived to be honorable, to play fair, to do right. I have never farmed a bottem fam, i have lost countless rounds because i refuse to do so, i have never broken a single NAP. I have given fair deals, never have i [built a human-sized mousetrap and used it to capture] anyone in this game to be called DISHONORABLE.
You sir, could never do the same. So no, i am not shady, i was having fun.
And thats why i will be leaving this game. Because never in my IC career of 8 years have i seen so much NAP breaking, so much whining, so much everything. Even when a player tries to do right (myself) we are still looked down upon.
I ask you though, so great respectable players... whats left in this game?
There is no honor left, no one plays by the rules, hell even when 4912 was farming the shit out of 4908 for NAP breaking you still accuse their fam of wrong doing? if thats wrong doing what the [I've run out of funny edits, so I'll just proclaim my love of all things marshmallow] is right???

maybe i might have been exagerating with 300 mil because you only had about 650 mil, but we got a few destroy cash ops going.
colorado didnt see the spread, i seen it i mentioned it to him before your guy even had any portals up. notice that as soon as your guys portals were up mines were already up or was soon to be up, although no one wanted to help me on my crusade for 4900 i had to ask exodus to fund me and i sold alot of res for upkeep, i initially only jumped with 50 mil the first time, and then another 60 mil a day later after my fleet had worn down.
and a war with 4911? lol. it was a war for like 2 days and then they pretty much gave up, then white L from 4911 jumps to 3.5 mil nw and plays ping pong with colorado for the last few days, of EOR.. hardly a war. (I think you just got politically [bamboozled])
No hard feelings flash, I KNOW for a fact you could have done us some damage i was surprised you didnt, but we minimized it by clearing early, so the most he would have taken maybe 3-5 systems, maybe...im sure he whined about all the blocks he got from our 3 partaxians and myself

we had to forfeit a war cant remember with who but it was just good timing on their end. I wanted to rape every family in sight but i wasnt leader so i didnt get to make the decisions. I also wanted to gangbang 4898 for NAP breaking because its the first time a NAP break has actually happened to me. but colorado just wanted to move on. I still think we should have killed them all off though.
It was a fun round overall, i got to do what i wanted to do which was resourcing and attacking.

I just cant beleive this guy hahaha, might have been the noobiest player this round, i cant beleive for 3 days, he jumped fleet, only to get it ran, then jumps agian, and gets run agian, and jumps agian to like 1 mil droid, and doesnt even attack me even when i had instant shares with him that i left on purpose so that i can keep running him. lol it was halirious, whats even more funny is 4900 keeps funding an attacker who probably claims hes gonna do something, but after jumping does absolutely NOTHING.
word of advice if you read this RSSU Centauri of 4900
Hide your figs when you log off or your not attacking, and if you want defense, build soldiers, not 1 million driods lol.

hmm flash, no idea what was going on behind the scenes. but from my POV, you had your little doublepenis guy infiltrate our cores who had something like 55 planets 100k nw. we had to get borg 8 to drop pretty much all his nw(from 1.5 mil to 200k) just so he could start clearing him, which in 2 days we dropped him from 58 to 30 planets, so he pretty much had no shares left with us. we had pretty much blocked all his portals he had shared with us by the time the blocks came down, he had already lost the planets he had in fully shared systems. why you didnt jump him? who knows. We had also targeted most of your bankers cash, and even manage to destroy something like 300 mil cash when your leader was holding your bank
but yes flash, it is fun terrorising people in this game, gonna be my last round in a long time, so i figured id have fun the last 72 hours.
great round, 7/10 we had like 6 wars this round.
EDIT: im pretty sure we could have destroyed your fam had colorado not wanted to play ping pong with 11. they were shhowing who had the biggest e peen with white L, i think colorado won haha
