the growth in the US is easily manageable. the growth also drives to increase the size of our economy, which makes our world influence greater and we have plenty of land to sustain it. if you want a dwindling population in a country that everyone ignores, go to most first world countries, leave the US/UK.

I personally think Berlusconi will soon fall from favour with the Italian people. Having their President on the covers on trashy tabloids around the world every second week or so much be a huge embarrassment for them. Not to mention the highest court in Italy recently struck down a law passed giving him immunity while in office.
