jarik is right though, big gals like cap atm give smaller fams a much more interestin' round.  i just randomed into a medium sized fam t' bank this round, an' we've had a perfectly interestin' round which we couldnt have had if th' gal had been small like ye want.

what dictates how fun th' round is fer th' top 10 fams, an' how much warrin'/infrawh0rin' thar is, isnt th' size o' th' gal, its th' calibre o' th' players.  just a few rounds ago in andro we had a ridiculously large gal as well, but thar were bein' plenty o' warrin' betwixt th' top 10 fams, an' th' large gal just facilitated a different kind o' warrin', which were bein' interestin'.  th' fact that we didnt  have that this round isnt becos o' th' gal size, its becos o' th' players in th' top 10

i dunno about other ppl but iv always found the attack button really useful for my phone when i dont want to or cant open up the entire map page lol. i can go to the attack page and back track to that specific system to send out expos even.

as for cf banking, my advice is to start pure cfs, going to 50% that way, then ob 50-100% with rcs until you have 4-6k rcs (depending on how big you expect to be over the course of the round). after that build TOs on new planets and keep going with cfs above 100/150% ob. dont demolish those 4-6k rcs, they wont affect your ratios much but they will help to keep ur con and eco researches up if you're not funding becos of war or sumthing. after that stick with 75/25 of cf/to

fo the first half of the round we werent inactive lethal, i didnt have a summer job yet and i wasnt learning to drive yet either, both of which take up quite a bit of time.

and when i say that 910/897 didnt do much, i mean they didnt do much to make us drop so much, beyond show no restraint in stopping themselves after taking a considerable no. of planets from an inactive fam. if we had stayed active there was no reason why we would have dropped anywhere near that much because we were far from crippled by your early attacks.

oh and i didnt wanna bring you into this lethal becos you were one of the only people from that alliance who voted sensibly

27. Worst mistake of round:912 thinking they can take us and finding they cant for the 2nd round.

i have to say that is sum cocky crap. neither 897 nor 910 did all that much to us. in case you didnt notice, we were inactive, busy, not caring. we didnt hadnt expoed in 2 weeks despite sitting on 400+ expos.

and orbit/kagar, grow up. voting me worst mistake of the round doesnt even make sense.
