Lat - I'm mostly taking the squash lessons because I needed to complete the physical recreation section of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, though it is a fun game.

As for halls, I was in AV last year but live in Leam at the moment. And no I won't be at the Christmas sessions I'm afraid because I'll be back in Guildford

I'll probably try to turn up to the second half of the Friday session, otherwise I won't be playing any badminton until the weekend after when my brother's term finishes. If you aren't about, then I'm sure I'll bump into you at one of the sessions next term

nolio you are a mod not an admin. many times over the course of the last few years we as a community have reached out to the mods to make some important decisions without stefan, like when wad and jag drafted into the playboy fam and blocked two draft spots at the SoR. the mods as a united group refused to do anything becos you were following the rules rigidly and you refused to stray from those rules set out by stefan.

those same rules say nothing about rather severe punishments for a bit of flaming.

For Harassment:
Moderator action: Mods will delete all posts that are deemed harassing after the victim has stated that they do not want further communication with the harasser. In the case of sexual harassment, all offending posts will be deleted. Posts which contain private information about a player or family whether it be real life or game related will be edited accordingly.

For Being Disrespectful to others:
Moderator action: Posts which are deemed to be disrepectful to others or immature will be edited accordingly.

Unconstructive Posts:
Moderator action: Posts which are unconstructive or unhelpful will be construed as spam and edited accordingly.

Flaming and Trolling:
Moderator action: Posts deemed to fall under this category will be edited by mods. Offending threads will be closed. Multiple instances will be deleted.

16. Failure to comply to the rules
Continuous failure to comply to these forum rules will result in a mod-issued forum warning in the offending thread. Further offences made following this warning could result in a temporary or permanent forum or account block, depending on the severity of the offence. You may appeal a decision made by mods/forum mods by discussing the punishment with a full moderator using the regular channels of communication.

You do not set the rules, you enforce them. Nowhere in the rules are you given the right to give people 1 week forum bans for a single offence of flaming.
