Lord Intef was once again in dilemma.  On the one hand, he had almost wrested power and taken control of this very Egypt for himself.  On the other hand, he has lost so many he had once liked to call his own.  Lostris was a part of him like no other, but she was an acceptable loss for the sake of his greater ambitions.

With the failing of targeting Arkoun last night, Lord Intef went back to the safe measure of killing a loyal subject and citizen of the Pharoah.  He went to KT, and because he had heard of KT's duty to the country on occasion, he would give her an honourable death.  This was unlike Lord Intef, but he was not feeling himself.  He went to KT in her sleep and gave her a quick and non-painful deathstroke.

After returning back, Lord Intef started questioning what he had done.  He snapped out of it, as this behaviour would not be sufficient to complete his aspirations, and he still, had a long way to go.

Arkoun now was nearing his objective.  He had shifted the power one way and now another.  His exertion of influence in this strange land was testament to his skill.

After slaying of a couple of gods (now being so casual), Arkoun thought it beneath him to do so against ordinary citizens.  So for this case, he sent one of his look-a-likes to Undeath and committ the necessary with ease.

I did however say, merge all galaxies so all our player base is one galaxy - this can be standard Fam play.

And then have one galaxy for SS play.

Then the variation of the SS play one, is SS with no market and no aid sending, but in a fam.

The fam dynamic is what makes IC unique.  We just need to make people more responsible for their own empires (by being SS and allowed to bank + attack + whatever) and need to limit how inactives can decimate your fam (for now, 1 man fams solves this).

What you were probably referring to, was when I suggested that the SS galaxy could be the mainstream (whether in fam or solo), and then the Fam Play (with aid sending and cooperation) is a priveledged thing every round, with full drafts, etc.

In reality, there's so many options.  But yea, 'something' should be done.

With the aftermath of the day, Lord Intef was in a bitter sweet humour.  Yes, he lost his servant, Taita, for which he (ab)used fervently.  However, this was still part of his master plan and as such, he must continue the movement.

This night, his choice was yet another suspected special member of Pharoah's party.  Unfortunately, this night again would prove worthless after he vacated Keerb's chambers, only to realise he was just wasting his time with plain citizen subjects.  Lord Intef wiped his blade and moved on out.

Arkoun had been working diligently gathering information on this very Egypt.  It seemed they were in turmoil, and there was a faction trying to gain power from within.  This suited Arkoun very well.  Through his intimdation of low servants, he managed to find out the information he needed and was prepared to take on a God.

Seth was a sadistic God, one who revelled in the torture and misfortune of others.  Arkoun had set a trap for him with one of his own men.  Arkoun maimed him and amputated a leg and left him lying in the desert heat.  Seth, upon being aware of such a situation of a foreigner in distress moved out to the bait.

It was at this time that Arkoun unleashed the powers of his own witchdoctory and used his empowered sword to strike at Seth.  As soon as the blade touched Alundra, it sank deep within and the wound opened up with a blue brilliant flame.  The scream Alundra let out was indeed godly.  It was heard through the lands and was so piercing that it struck fear into everyone.  Alundra look toward his mortal slayer with eyes of anguish.  Arkoun laughed with a burning, deep within his eyes.

At the same time, it was time for Rasfer to make his move.  After having satisfied his desires during the day with Melvin, he wanted to recruit someone to the side of Lord Intef.  This was his special ability and he had extremely torturous ways to be able to do so.  Not many could resist such a conversion, and everything had gone according to plan.  Lord Intef's group, had grown by one and the defenders of Pharoah and all things good, were down once more.

After satisfaction and enjoyment of the great Hunt, tonight, everyone would sleep peacefully knowing that the Great Godess, Hapi, is pleased with them. Or so what they thought...

Meanwhile, before the Play that was to be held in Pharoah Metrex's honour, a few people were scurrying around with last minute preparations.  Taita had been tasked with the priveledge of a new account of how the Gods and this world came to be.  This was a very much anticipated event and Taita was to take this opportunity to impress upon Pharoah.

Tonight, however, was a time that Lord Intef would take matters into his own hands.  He was not unfamiliar to menial tasks such as this, and performing it again and again rekindles his excitement.  He had heard from his trusted network that Rising Down, might be a valued member of the Pharoah's group and thought he would weaken them.  Lord Intef slipped away during the night to find RisingDown's quarters and found him asleep, peacefully.  Lord Intef questioned himself as to why someone of high standing, might be in such a place where only a plain citizen would be.  He looked around the room and started to think that he misjudged who RisingDown was.  It was too late however, so Lord Intef went through the motions and quietly slit RisingDown's throat and retreated back.

Arkoun however, roamed the rivers now and was forever encroaching upon that which he thought he could claim.  He looked around at the carnage of the day and noticed that these Egyptians were skilled enough to slay the River Cows. 

For now though, he found an egyptian boy still scurrying around picking up any scraps that were left from the uncivilised scavenging from the day.

"Hah! Come here little boy", mentioned Arkoun with a beckoning gesture.  Arby walked up close to him with a questioning look.  He had not known any enemy from foreign places and had no reason to fear.  Unfortunately, the boy saw the glinting blue coloured sword but was a little slow in realising what it meant.  Arkoun's precious had not tasted blood in a while and it was this innocence with which he let his insatiable hunger indulge in.
