Yea, not mods specifically, but players I'd say.  A lot of good ideas of players, have been implemented recently and they are keen to hear more.  Especially now, when everyones looking for ways to improve IC.

I agree - cores has limited attacking.

But it's been a progression of the game.  Not something that's been 'implemented' per se.

Sadly, leaving open a planet, often leaves your fam to be totally decimated and whatnot.

If we can somehow reduce the farming and 'dishonourable' attacks that go on, then something like that could work.  I agree though, shares are what makes IC fun and these days, people can't realise it.  But rightly so, cos it does open up your fam to trouble.

So yea, agree with you - but the implementation isn't as easy as what you suggest.  Something does need to be done though.

You first post makes more sense.  Something to do with how planets don't blow up intra fam anymore.  So the count of the planet, probably doesn't update/fix until the tick.  Doesn't have to do with the Inactive tag. 

Just speculating though, but could now be tested as such!

PS: Morale loss has never had anything to do with networth

Interesting.  That's the first guess I've seen at what the problem might be.  Helps to fix it, in the sense that it is at least  something now that can be tested by mods.

Cos yea, its only 'sometimes' where it needs to wait til tick to register.  I never checked it out though.

Funnily enough, I was right about my 3-way lynch on day 1 though!  Pity you all didn't agree and we didnt get Humi lynched day 1 tongue

Right okay, so I been thinking about this a bit.  Been a busy weekend, so couldn't do much, but weekend is over!

Anyway we look at it, we have to lynch the gang leader today.  So since mob recruited last night, it means its 2 vs 2.

So the different scenarios are:

We lynch recruit
= go to 2v1 into night, mob recruits/kills and mob wins.

We lynch town
= go to 2v1 and mob wins straight away

We lynch town AND gang leader
= gang leader dies, recruit turns into town and we win 0v2

We lynch gang leader
= we win 0v3


So bottom two options is town win, and top two options are mob win.  In that case, imo best is to lynch two people.  EvilRunt was roleblocker and he suspected rchie.

Ramza and rchie, I had a chat with both of you today, and i dont get a mob feeling from either.  Havn't been paying too much attention earlier, so i dont really know. (if you're both mob, then this is really screwed up...)

Either way, i think melvin is the gang leader now.  If you guys think i'm the gang leader (i'm not though) then i dont mind
tying it up on me either, so you can make sure.

So yea...

You don't need devs to reproduce the problem! Mods can test it out still etc.  Find where the problem is.  Then feed it to Stefan, for a fix.

I don't like the idea, really, cos of your bypass example (+ others).

But I love the intention!  We definitely do need to bring back more decent attacking (not farming/raping/etc) back into the game. 

So yea perhaps this idea refined a bit, or other ideas which encourage attacking!
