So, after a long period of inactivity, here comes the obvious: I have decided to retire from IC. I know I have said it before, but I think/hope I can pull through this time.

My studies and extracurricural activities are just becoming too much to set aside any time whatsoever for IC. The hours in the dissection labs and college benches are getting longer, my liver is taking more and more hits from the nights I roam the streets of Utrecht, and our Lustrum (which I am helping organise) is getting nearer and nearer.

And therefore, I bid you all farewell. I hope you guys will remember all the good times we've had, I'm sure I will. I'm not going to make a list of people I'd like to thank for my good time here, because that list would be endless. Most of you know already anyways.

I'd love to do a beer with you, humi. Just give me 2 weeks advance notice, otherwise I might have different plans. Try to get my email or phone number from somewhere/someone, as I doubt I'll be checking out these forums much anymore.

Utrecht!

We have a beautiful city center here, very nice parks to visit and some fun musea if you're into that sort of thing, as well as plenty nice clubs and bars.

A few nice places to visit:
- De "Dom", the famous churchtower.
- Oudaen, a house (also known as "Stadskasteel", or city castle in English) from the period between 12-14th century. There are several more of these, but this one is by far in the best condition.
- De Winkel van Sinkel, a famous shop with very nice architecture.
- The Moneymuseum and the Dutch Royal Mint, both located in the same beautiful building.
- Wilhelminapark
- Just the city center in general, there's some nice architecture to be found.

Nice restaurants:
- I've heard good things about "De Thai", along de oudegracht.
- There's an Indian place close to the Mariaplaats that's quite nice, although I forget it's name.
- Eetcaf

Good luck to both sides, and happy opping! YAY!

Oftentimes when I try to navigate through the forums, the loading times will seem increasingly long (at least compared to recently) and a blank screen with solely the letter "F" displayed on it appears inside the game window (so excluding the sidebars, which remain normal).

Yes, what Jaguar says, running puts a lot of stress on your joints which may cause early deterioration of your joints. Knees, ankles, especially when you run on hardened (concrete, asphalt, stones, etc.) ground.

Name: B anthracis
Family: 6560
________

1. Best Leader
Sol 6563 - His family made a very nice comeback this round and I can only suspect Sol had some kinda hand in it tongue.

2. Best Diplomat
Ocho 6561 - For a family with 0 attackers to be able to survive that long to infra up THAT much, that requires some diplo skills. Although I must say, your fam having such an unactractively low planet count, making you guys hardly an interesting planet grab, might've helped as well.

3. Most honorable family
No one really stood out. Practically every fam has done some dishonorable shit this round.

4. Most dishonorable family
6560 - I'll nominate my own fam because we did pull some shady shit.

5. Most tenacious family
6563 - After we had raided them early on, they bounced back up to win size. That's being tenacious.

6. Your favorite war
6563 vs 6558 - watching the war from both fam's point of views through talks with players or even being present in their fam chats, was very interesting and funny to see people mess up.

7. Best spellcasting empire
No one stood out.

8. Best agent opper empire
No one stood out either.

9. Most overrated player
Flashy 6561, sorry man but the way you dropped your fam sucked. I was looking forward to having you crash your droids on me again!

10. Potential Star

11. Favorite forum poster

12. Best all around banker
Khorinis 6560 - Damn, that guy had some pop!

13. Best all around resourcer
Blue 6561 - Showed me his 1600% ob jump in chat... I did not exactly know how to react tongue

14. Best all around attacker
Nox 6563 - Tough one, were some good, active attackers this round. Heard most good stuff about Nox though.

15. Best all around player
Lee 6558 - Before his whole fam went inactive, they were ruling this galaxy.

16. Rounds Joker (why?)
Me, for getting pulled into dishonorable shit and being part of it myself.

17. Biggest mistake of the round
See point 16.

18. Favorite Family theme
6560 - Bacteria big_smile

19. Rate the round (1-10)
5.5 - Had some fun, early raids were funny to see people react, although I didn't have wifi in my appartment for most of the round and was working from my phone. But the late round kind of crapped all over my round, kind of ruining it for me.

Yeah silenz tends to miss big numbers of units, especially fighters, whicch can be quite annoying and dangerous for people who do not know of this bug.

On your forum profile, under the header user activity, there is a line that will tell you when the last post if someone was. This line has never worked properly. If I recall correctly, in the past it was used to monitor when the person had last received tag points. Now that tag points are rewarded through individual posts, there is no need any longer to monitor tag points through this means, and regardless of the need, it doesn't even seem to work that way anymore!

So, perhaps our lovely developers could fix this so that it may finally work in the way it itself describes? wink

I NEED that proctologist tag, AW >:(

But no, in this case I just want my fleet boss working perfectly!

Yeah I understand, I'm just testing out as many options as I can, trying to make clear to others what functions may or may not work on what pages.

And possibly showing to you what options need fixes, if you have the time to do it! wink

I guess this is where I draw the line. Only couple of days left of the round, but I'm not gonna do shit any longer. I've told Gx to handle these violations plenty times.

btw 50, nice jumps to get those planets back. Showing some fighting spirit, I like that.

Can we get this thread closed? Bunch of people making rl threats at each other, i'd say that is unacceptable. plus this thread has no real content whatsover. Instead of editing every simple post in here, wouldnt it save you lots of valuable time if you just closed it, DS?
