I'm working on the language. Probably something like "Compelling self-incrimination for administrative punishment without due process is prohibited by the Constitution." I think that covers it but then I have to get it to fit the form.

I think you're confusing it with the Fourth Amendment Exclusionary Rule, which says that if a trial court, the final arbiter of truth, learns facts through an unauthorized search, it will forget it knows those facts, and declare the Truth to be something false.

If I take an axe to a mail box, I will get arrested, I can't be ordered to confess, I have to be indicted or taken before a judge for a preliminary hearing, I get a free lawyer, I get a trial, and then if I'm found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

Think about it. The EPA decrees that in 6 months it will ban coal power generators. If in 6 months, the House, Senate and President don't get together to reverse the regulations --and the EPA represents the Presidents view-- then it happens because bureaucrats wanted to make law.
We're seeing the EPA declare it can regulate ANY waterway in America, and the FCC is INVENTING authority to regulate the internet -- the Supreme Court checked it once already, it's coming back for seconds.
That process means the President gets to make laws unless 2/3 of both House and Senate are willing to vote him down.
And then, he issues waivers to his allies. THEY can go about business as usual. Everybody else, gets the shaft.
That's real nice.

You may say, 14th Amendment guarantees equal protection. Well that just gives you the right to sue, if you can last four years. Of course if you're out of business when it reaches the Supreme Court, the case is moot.

what I find tragic is, the electric car fans are insistent that electric cars be powered by a battery that replaces the gas engine
and steam car fans are adamant that steam cars be driven by a steam-powered cam that replaces the gas engine
when it seems to me it'd be a hell of a lot easier to have a steam-unit power an alternator to drive an electric motor that would replace the gas engine, the battery and skip a boiler-piston large enough to turn a cam.
But the only car designers i've ever met were college students from Vancouver and I kind of had to stomp them back to their rooms for being rowdy drunks.
